What Next Special Edition do you think will come next?

Since Pocahontas was released as a 10th Annaversary Edition it could be probable that they will do the same thing to the ones that came after it which are Hunchback and Hercules. In 2006 it will be Hunchback's 10th annaversary and in 2007 it will be Hercules so I strongly believe that will be future for the following special editons. What do you guys think do you agree?

I think and can nearly guarantee Lilo and Stitch will come next.
I'm thinking Dumbo after that. Just got a feeling.

I'm looking forward to Lilo and Stitch Special Edition. I just wonder when the exact date of release will be.

They can explain the story conferences. Camera focuses on David Jonas reading Lord of the Rings, hmmm something here about a magic ring, what could we do? Ted Berman....how about a magic goat?(Note:CEO Don Miller subsequently changed it to a pig cause he thought they could sell more plushes that way).

Jonas continues....lets see a villain you never see. Berman "How do you draw a villain you never see?"

Could be real interesting.

You seem to be missing the fact that this isn't an original Disney story, but is based off of a series of books entitled the Legend of Phythia (or something like that, too lazy to get off my butt and check on exact spelling). Thus hitting Disney for making a Lord of the Rings rip-off really isn't fair. The story was developed off of the books, so if you're going to knock anyone, knock the writer of the books.

Anyways, I'd love to see a new release of Black Cauldron, hopefully one will come sooner rather than later

The next ones to come (that aren't announced) will almost certainly be Lilo & Stitch, Hercules, Toy Story 2, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Dumbo, perhaps even in that order but that might be wishful thinking. :)

I really hope that Toy Story 2, Dumbo, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and The Hunchback of Notre Dame come out soon, but I think Robin Hood deserves a new release first; the old one is abysmal (ploppy extras, poor image quality) and I feel stupid that I even bought that piece of junk even though I got it for far below the RRP.

Us too, but we absolutely love Robin Hood. :(
Bring out the 2-Disc, Disney! Geeeez.

Remember Disney with names?
Anniversary Edition, Special Edition/Platinum Edition..
Well, the next SE is of course Lilo&Stitch. After that, I guess it's all based on assumptions and hopes..or is it?

I agree, too. Something like that:

2005: Lilo&Stitch

2006: Hunchback (10th Ann.), Dumbo (65 Ann.), Robin Hood

2007: Hercules (10th Ann.), The Sword in The Stone, Aristocats

"This autumn the 20th anniversery edition of The Black Cauldron.": I hope for that one to become SE this year, cause I like the movie a lot, but I´m afraid Disney won´t give it that treatment.

This is a mix between what I believe what will happen and what I want to happen:

2005:
Lilo & Stitch: Special Edition
Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition
Toy Story 2: Special Edition

2006:
Dumbo: 65th Anniversary Edition (used to support Lady and the Tramp)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame: 10th Anniversary Edition (used to support The Little Mermaid)
Song of the South: 60th Anniversary Edition
Bedknobs and Broomsticks: 35th Anniversary Edition

2007:
Saludos Amigos: 65th Anniversary Edition (possibly packaged with The Three Caballeros, supporting Jungle Book)
Hercules: 10th Anniversary Edition (supporting 101 Dalmatians)
Pete's Dragon: 30th Anniverary Edition

I agree that that in 2005 all the Special Editions we'll be seeing are:
-Lilo and Stitch: Special or Masterpiece Edition(supporting Cinderella)
-Toy story: 10th Anniversary
-Toy Story 2: Special or Collector's Edition

In 2006 around the release of Lady and the tramp
- The Hunchback of Notre Dame: 10th Anniversary Edition
-Dumbo: Special Edition ( if an anniversary edition it will be released in october since it was it's theatrical release if special edition it could be released around lady and the tramp instead of hunchback)
2007:
-Hercules: 10th Anniversary

*Since they started labeling anniversary editions to Pocahontas and Mary Poppins, it is rather obvious that Disney would do the same for Hercules and Hunchback since their anniversary is coming up

DO any of you guys think that Disney will be releasing movies like sword in the stone robin hood on 2-disc special editions?

If a Special Edition of The Black Cauldron came out, I would mind buying it. It would be one of the only animated classics that I have yet to see.

However, I'm pretty sure Disney has jumped on the 10th Anniversary Edition Bandwagon.

That sounds very possible for Disney lineup. :)
