Well he had a tremendous and full run at Disney, and it seemed like he was the last of the creative folks around from the earliest Golden Age. I guess there's still Ollie. Rest in peace, Joe Grant.

Sad news, but I'm happy to see that this man got a very "full run" to say the least.

It's a shame his death isn't getting as much attention as it deserves to in the animation comunity. He was a great artists and contributed to many of our favorite Disney films, new and old. Of course his passing is a sad news, but at least he lived a long life and left us a great legacy.
Rest in peace Joe Grant!

It's eerie hearing about his death when just yesterday I was listening to the Pocahontas commentary track in which he's credited with many of the gags done by the animal characters. He also co-wrote the screenplay to my favorite Disney film, Alice in Wonderland, among many other things. I find it depressing how so many Disney veterans keep passing on one by one in a steady pace. There's hardly anyone left anymore who worked with Uncle Walt.

That's weird. I heard he died more than a year ago! Oh well still sad. I was kind of hoping he was going to make 100 years old! Well maybe Ollie Johnson will make it! Anyways R.I.P Joe Grant.

I had started a different topic on this but it appears that it was combined into this one. But still sad, I think I'll watch Dumbo tonight
