Click on the Movie Night button at the top of this page to find out how to have a fun family night whilst watching Disney classics. Eat finger sandwiches with Mary Poppins to create the atmosphere of that movie. Hold on, though...was teh Poppins really a cannibal? :o

I guess Americans think that all British people do is have tea and sandwiches! I think the "finger" sandwiches is referring to little sandwiches, small enough to hold in your fingers. ;)

Although what other kind of sandwiches are there

Completely unrelated, I know, but I remember that there was a lady in one of the Mary Poppins books who broke off her fingers and gave them to Jane and Michael's baby sister and brother as candy. I read a few of the books years ago, but that image never left me.

Hmm...the stage musical version now in London reinserts her I think, but without the finger breaking off thing. Supercalifragilistickexpialidocious is know sung in her word/candy shop.

We did a movie night with The Incredibles a few weeks ago. Before the movie, I handed out masks to all the kids. Each mask was made of foam and tied with red ribbons.
And then we made "Super Sundaes" and I had a TON of toppings and sprinkles. Anything you could think of! I'm shocked none of the kids went into diabetic comas!

And I bet their parents LOVED me when they got home ;)

I love Disney Movie NIghts! I have them with my best friend (who happens to be a disney fan!) all the chances we got. in october..we had a study date and watched aladdin and then at christmas, we ended up each giving each other the platinum dvd! this weekend we watched beauty and the beast on dvd. we couldnt get togetehr so we each pressed play at the same time and we'd send messages back and fourth online commenting it! heehhe its so nerdy but i love it anyway!
