IMO the incredibles was a great film but i hyave a weird ques and it is Did anyone think mr.incredible wasnt a good hero??

In My opinion he was the worst of the incredibles

* He never really beat syndrome

*He always got captuared and defeated by syndrome

* He always got the most punches and got his butt kicked a few times he also got creamed by the robots even though he defeated

* he got knocked out

So what do you guys think??

I think the point of the movie was the work of a team can always beat an individual working alone. And at least he didnt die like all the other heroes working alone.

Damn Yankees - at least they are in last place. Go Mariners.

Yeah I agree with Mr. Toad, the whole message was that you can accomplish much more if you worked in a team instead of working solo.
Phhh, fricken Colorado Rockies are the worst team ever, that's why I root for the Cubs, everyone roots for them. Actually, I don't give a hoot about baseball. It's football or college football for me.:)

Isn't that why everyone in the family had different powers. So they could work together as a team.

* he figured out how to destroy a robot that no superhero up to that point had beaten.

* he beat his boss through 6 walls (dont we all just wanna do that sometimes :))

* he married elastigirl (she's soooo..... flexible)

* and yeah, the point of the movie was working as a team beats being alone. That's why the movie is called The Incredibles.

Yea Now I See what u guys are saying

because in the begginning he said he only worked alone and when he worked alone he got creamed

but with his family he did better

but i guess what im thinking is he alaways lost while fightin by himself.

Take Batman for instance hes gotten his butt kicked be4 but he still wins sometimes

same with spider man like in the 1st movie he got hitt in the face with a bomb but he still puched the green goblin a little bit

but he stills win

But Batman joined the Justice League. Sure he can beat up a garden variety thug by himself but it takes the Justice League to stop a big threat.

I am not as big a Marvel fan - his Spidey ever been part of the XMen or Avengers?

Spidey teamed up with different peeps (as do ALL superheroes) a bunch of times........

But Spider-Man rarely, if ever, wins just through brute force. He wins by getting his strength from his friends and family, and often by using his brain.

Besides, what makes Spider-Man a hero isn't how hard he punches etc. Its every thing he sacrifices in his ordinary life that makes him the hero - every heroic action Spider-Man performs complicates his private life more and more.

Superhero stories are, surprisingly, less about the heroes, but more about the people.

Just as with The Incredibles. It doesn't matter if Violet can form a shield around the plane, or if Mr Incredible can destroy a robot by himself or not. Its about the family relationship and the strength they give each other.

I think Mr. Incredible did good by himself and with his family. I agree with what Mr. Toad said about working as a team and I also agree with what PatrickvD said about him being the only one that actually figured out how to destroy that robot. Also, Mr. Incredible could have beatin Syndrome if he actually had a chance to use his power against him which he was unable to do because Syndrome would always stop him with that dumb laser. In the end they all used their powers to their advantage and all worked well together as Syndrome payed the consequences for wearing a cape.

So yes. I think Mr. Incredible was a good Hero :D

You obiously didn't see the same movie I did! :P I thought Mr. Incredible was a great super hero! Look at all the things he did:

1. Saved a kitty and stopped a robber from getting away at the SAME TIME!

2. Defeated the omidroid the first time!

3. Saved Dash and Violet from getting killed!

4. Killing the omidrod by the omidrod destorying itself was his idea!

5. Killed Syndrome at the end!

About Batman:
It´s a little different in the case of the winnings and looses. Remember than he didn´t have any superpowers or un-human skills.

Returning to the main uestiom:

Well, I agree with the team stuff because two heads are better than one.
And yes, but the remamrkable it´s than even when he maybe was defeated, he stand up and figth again

Yea After Reading what you guys said I undersatnd now :)

It was just Syndrome was a big threat so they needed a group to work together and defeat him.

Take batman for instance The Villan Bane Broke Him Easily
But when he works together and makes machines they beat him.

The only time that didnt work is the time with superman when he died because that villian was way too powerful

Ditto to pretty much what everyone has said. After a number of rewatches on video, this is actually my fourth favorite superhero film (Spider Man 2, X2, Superman 1 and TI in that order), and Mr. Incredible's number 3 on my heroes list (Spidey, Wolverine and him).

BTW Red Sox OWN!! :p :p :p

If Supermand and Mr. Incredible were in a fight who would win???
I think Superman cuz he has a slight advantage, cuz he can fly and all. But I think both match in streangth.

Yes, but dont forget the entire Justice League was fighting, damn what was that things name. And they lost as a team. The focus was on Superman because he died.
