WH Smiths are taking pre-orders for the Lion King DVD, which is to be released on Oct 31st.

Interestingly, it looks like the only copy to be released in the UK will be the 2 disc set - no single disc release was mentioned (Snow White, Beauty and the Best and other 2 disc releases like Monsters, Inc. have a single disc release as well in the UK).

The artwork shown was the exact same as the R1 artwork. No mention at all was made of supplements.

It's great to hear that the Region 2 DVD set will be out in October!

Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.fr haven't added a Lion King or "Le Roi lion" page yet.

Hi, I heard that The Lion King will be out in France on October 15.
