Since I see so many movie, book, etc. threads, I thought I'd add one on PC games.

Do you play them, what do you have, and what is your favorite?

I'll go first...

I have several, Zeus and Posieden (sp?), The Settlers IV, Zoo Tycoon (all 3), some card/board games, and The Sims 2.

My favorite is The Sims 2 and totally addicting, I'm hoping next month to get the newest expansion pack for the game.

I hardly ever play Zues/Posieden or The Settlers IV.

I've also played several of the Nancy Drew PC games, and they are fun even as an adult.

Hi

I dont really play that many PC Games. I have a cool 101 Dalmatians game that I used to play alot where your one of the dogs and you try to save other puppies and escape Cruella's mansion. IIt was cool. Other than that, I play Sims alot but Im cheap and I only have the first standard low-tech one.

I love Roller Coaster Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon! I have RTC, Corkscrew Follies, Loopy Landscapes and Zoo Tycoon, Dinosaur Digs, Marine Mania. These games are so much fun, but I never have time to play them anymore. Also for some reason or another, my computer always manages to get screwed up so all my progress has been lost!

I also have a lot of other Disney games like different Magic Artists, Villain's Revenge, The D Show, and sample games from cereal boxes.

I've played the Sims before at my cousins house and it was a lot of fun, but also kind of creepy, making a digital family and house and with all those different expansion packs!

I'm not really into PC games. I prefer Video games but I do enjoy playing The Sims 2. It's a great improvement over all the other sims and it's a really fun game which can get pretty addicting. I'll have to try out Sims University sometime soon.

I sold off my Sims collection, because I got bored of it, I really enjoy the Sims 2 and the only reason I don't have the second expansion is because it was either that or DVD's, lol. That and my mad money is less now that gas prices are so high!

OMG! I am pretty much addicted to Spider Solitaire. Have you ever one a game with two different suits? I can never seem to win no matter how close I am. :(

I enjoy playing computer games...especially the Sims...but since I got a Mac I haven't really gotten into to too much cause the games are more expensive for the Mac. Once I get a new PC I'll start getting back into games. There are so many that I've been wanting to try.

I don't like PC games. For a number of reasons:

1.You have to check that they're compatible with your PC; if they're not then you have to upgrade.

2. I hate the controls... and I'm not good with mouse either. And if you have to buy a joystick or controller again, you have to check that is compatible with you PC and then have to install it and calibrate it.

3. They occupy space on the hardrive.

4. If your computer has a problem then you might loose your save points (progress).

5. They're expensive by themselves; I know that new console games can be as expensive but not that much and even if they do chances are that eventually they'll drop price.

Nope....

I prefer to have my console where I don't have problems with compatibility, don't have to make upgrades on the hardware, games are affordable and they're easier for me to play.

Altough, I did play and finished Hexen 2 (the only PC game I ever played troughly) and liked it a lot.

I don't like console games for the fact that I can't afford one, and if I got one I couldn't afford any games, and the only games that interest me are Spyro... so consoles are useless for me. I liked driving games until I realized I couldn't drive a car on console games (or pc), the type of games I like only come available to PC, ie The Sims, Zoo Tycoon, you can't get those type of games for consoles. Consoles is like owning a big arcade, racing, etc. I would like to get a PS2 just to play the new Spyro games, but it seems silly to spend that much money for 1 or 2 games.

I grew up on PC games, not consoles, so maybe that's part of it too.
