Sorry if this was posted already but I didn't see it yet.

Anyway I tend to buy dvds once a week. Usually just one or two depending on which ones are on sale at Target for that week. I try not to go too far over $20 a week on dvds.

I would say, that sometimes I don't buy any dvds for a while, I buy them when I can afford them.

I buy around one or two a month maximum. However, at certain times, for example after birthdays and Christmas, I'll go ballistic and buy loads with all the money I got. Plus, the best part is that it's sale time after Christmas and my birthday (June), so I can get lots more DVDs than normal. Wheeeeeeeee! :D

I'd say probably every two or three weeks I'll get one....I'm not planning on buying anything for the rest of April(except maybe That 70's show vol 2 if I have money)....I don't do too many "blind buys" anymore,I usually just either get movies or TV series I've already seen, and know I like...

Depends on what's on sale/what comes out.

Ditto. It all depends on what is released :)

I buy dvds about once a month. I wait untill there are a few I want, then I go out and buy them.

I buy many used DVD's and replace the case and they are good as new, movies with slipcovers need to be purchased new. I started buying DVD's a couple months ago trying to purchase my favorites first, I have a few so far with a couple dozen to go.

My buying habits are just like Wonderlicious'. I usually only buy one or two DVD's a month, but when my birthday and Christmas roll around, the DVD's (and money for DVD's) start rolling in. In my case, it's nice to have an October birthday because the best releases always come out in the fall (this year, for instance, will have Cinderella: Platinum Edition, The Wizard of Oz: Special Edition, and Titanic: Collector's Edition all in October, with Ben-Hur and Lilo & Stitch SE's coming the month before).

Well this week, I bought 2 DVDs. Wal-Mart has a whole bin of DVDs for $6.88 and sometimes they have movies that I want and I'll buy them.

I have stopped buying new releases, stuff that is featured in the weekly sales in the paper, or things out of the bargain bins.

The new releases are going to go down in price, and may have better editions come out in 3-4 months.

Regular online prices (especially at Deep Discount DVD, or found using DVD Price Search) are comparable or cheaper than the weekly sales at B&M stores.

The bargain bins seem nice at first glance, but there are several reasons I don't buy from them any more.
1. Most of the movies are junk, and I was buying them because they were cheap.
2. Wal-Mart just throws thousands of DVDs in the bins, and I hate trying to shoulder my way past people so I can paw through them just to find something I could order online.
3. Often, the titles are full-screen only, or lacking in features.
4. Many of the titles are due for re-releases, and I would rather wait for a new SE with anamorphic widescreen.

Recently, I have limited my DVD purchasing to Limited Editions or titles that are going out of print with no signs of re-releases. Also, my focus is more on anime, classic, horror, or cult titles at the moment, as I am getting tired of the standard Hollywood fare.

I also buy a lot of DVDs at used stores, especially if I get a Buy 3 get 1 Free deal, or find something that is out of print.

This year, I have purchased 40 DVDs, including 3 box sets.

I guess it all depends, I may go a week or two without buying a new DVD, but once I do I usually buy 2 or 3.

Right now, since I just recently got back into Disney, I have been trying to keep my buying to strictly Disney, so I haven't been buying as much lately.

Yup. When The Incredibles first came out, the price in Canadian was something between $23.99 or more. I just bought it at Best Buy for $19.99 Canadian.

depending on what's available, I might buy about two or three DVDs every fortnight.

Although now that I have forked out a fair bit for a new computer recently, it might be only 1 every month until I pay off the computer. :(

Well, for those of us like me who still rely on our allowences :D to get us by, I usually buy one every month.

However, my Grandma or Mom usually buy me a couple a month.
