Well here is the next decade, The 70s!
Again which of these unreleased live action films would you like to see the most? Also I decided to go with the DVDs not available in the US now, even though some have been available in the past or in different countries.

Well the 70s film were certainly a interesting decade for the Disney studios, with a good handfull of comedy titles. The seemed to struggle to find their feet during the years after Walt's death, and they were certainly difficult as they had no real leader, there was not one person whose vision was followed, and decisions were more collaborative. Nonetheless a lot of firm favourites were made in the 70s and they are not always as 'doom and gloom' as some seem to think.
So which do you most want and why?
Feel free to give your opinions on the films if you've seen them!

If you want more information about the films, you can look at IMDB and Amazon, for reviews of previous VHS releases.

The Bears and I, The Littlest Horse Thieves, and The Castaway Cowboy were all released to DVD by Anchor Bay. (But then, the '70s has mostly been released to Disney DVD, so you'd have a slim poll otherwise.)

If we include the unreleased The Shaggy D.A., that would have my vote. As it is, I'll have to go with Dr. Syn, although it sounds like the feature film cut would not be the best to have. Superdad has been rather critically maligned, so I'm curious to see that one too. And Charley and the Angel has both Fred and Kurt, so that's another to see.

Oh yeah, I just copied a pasted that blab from the 60s poll without reading it, and yeah I realised too that without them it'd be slim!

I have been waiting for years for Disney to get around to releasing "The Wild Country". It has three things that I love in it: It's a Disney movie, it's a western and it stars Ronny Howard.

Dr. Syn is my choice! And, yes, I prefer the episodes over the film release, I think.

I'd like to see Treasure of Matacumbe again. It's been a while.

I'm not sure about a lot of these movies.... I may recognize them once I see pix or read about them. Charley and the Angel sound a little familiar.

I chose Take Down because that is the only movie I've seen on that list.

It sounds like this is the only one that Disney doesn't have the rights to anymore. According to Maltin's book, the producer got the rights to this film back. Don't know if or when we'll see a DVD release then.

That´s correct - Disney have not the rights to Take Down anymore, since it was not made by them.
I go with SUPERDAD, since I think that film is rather corny and funny and all the bad talking about it is not justified in my eyes.
Nice songs and the least fameous of the films with Kurt Russel, done for Disney.
Dr. Syn is awaited but I don´t like it very much.
