Re-Releases?

How many years before they re-release earlier DVD's? I did not get a DVD player until last year and therefore did not buy Beauty and the Beast or The Jungle Book back in 2001/2002.

Welcome to the forum. The current Platinum schedule (subject to change) can be seen in the following places on this site:

<i>Snow White</i> and <i>Beauty and the Beast</i> are supposed to not be released again until 2011 and 2012, but Disney has changed plans in the past. The current moratorium period is supposed to be 5 years so <i>Toy Story</i> could turn up in 2008 and <i>The Lion King</i> could be expected around the same time.

Thank you for the quick replies! I guess if I want them now, I'll have to go to eBay! I cannot afford the platinum ones, but they are also selling the 1 disc versions!
I'm not sure I have any "Disney" stories, I have never been to Disneyworld/Land as of yet, someday! I grew up watching Disney movies of course and I love all the old ones, and some of the new ones, although I'm not a fan of all the newer stuff. I love Haley Mills movies! I was thrilled to see both Summer Magic and That Darn Cat being released soon!
