How can you tell if your purchasing DVD or VHS, I went to sign up and I know Robin Hood is on DVD, but it't not under their Disney DVD list so how do I know if I'm getting DVD or VHS? It's very confusing! Bambi is also released on DVD, but it's not listed as being DVD or VHS...
HELP!

Well I know that the Bambi PE(platinum edition) is on DVD. So if the movie that your looking at says platinum edition, I'm pretty sure that's DVD. I'm not sure about the others.
BTW welcome to the forums!!!

Well when you signed up it should have asked you your preference: "VHS or DVD?"
Then most have a VHS or DVD icon next to them, and you click on DVD. I agree about the platinum edition comment- if its platinum edition, it's DVD.

Not quite because Platinum Editions are released on VHS too.

Maybe I'm not going to the right site then? Could someone post the correct site for joining the club? The page I get doesn't show DVD/VHS beside them at all, just gives you a list and your supposed to pick 3... I cannot tell if Robin Hood is DVD or not, it says gold collection and my VHS is that, but I know the DVD was also a gold collection.
Thank you.

I don't really know anything anyway
BUT I do know this! I went to the site like I was going to sign up again. Tricia- this is what you do. You click all of the movies you want and once you're done picking your 5 movies (or however many you want) it goes to a page for you to register at. Under your name and info it says "pick format" and you click DVD or VHS.
Hope that helps!!

They still put movies on VHS? I thought it was completely taken over by the DVD. Like no one uses VHS anymore unless they want to save money...

Well, despite many people having DVD players, there are some people who only have a VCR, so the studios still put out videos to cater for them, although in limited number to try and persuade non-DVD people to go and get a disc player.
Also, the current home-media release of
Robin Hood was issued in America in 2000 when DVDs were less common and videos more common, so there would be lots of
Robin Hood Gold Collection videos lying around.
