Well the thread about the 50s did quite well, so here is the next decade. Again which of these unreleased live action films would you like to see the most? I have not included titles on the poll that are not yet available but have been announced for a future release, such as Summer Magic. I have also not included titles with previous DVD releases by Anchor Bay. Also I decided to go with the DVDs not available in the US now, even though some have been available in the past or in different countries.

Well the 60s film were certainly a busy decade for the Disney studios, with a good handfull of succesful titles.
So which do you most want and why?
Feel free to give your opinions on the films if you've seen them!

If you want more information about the films, you can look at IMDB and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redir ... >Amazon, for reviews of previous VHS releases.

Have heard great things about The Incredible Journey, Emil and the Detectives sounds interesting, and Moon Pilot seems like it could be one of the good wacky comedies. But nothing can top the Beach Boys, Annette Funicello, and Disney legend Tom Kirk.

The Monkey's Uncle :D

I voted for "Moon Pilot". It's one of Disney's better comedies from the 60's. (As compared to the truly awful "Misadventures of Merlin Jones", and "The Monkey's Uncle").
Also, I've never seen "A Tiger Walks" but I've always wanted to.

My vote went for The Incredible Journey. I really am surprised that is has not yet made it to DVD after all this film is probably regarded as more of a "classic" than the others on the list. And we knoe that it has been released in Japan! Also I am surprised that Disney UK did not try to cash in on the fact that it was voted the 49th greatest tearjerker in a recent UK poll! Idiots!

Well, nearly all of these titles are movies I haven't seen/I'm unfamiliar with.

I voted for Zorro. Next would have been 'Kidnapped' or 'The Monkey's Uncle.' Since Disney released other Tommy Kirk shows recently, I don't see why TMU wouldn't be distributed.

I wonder if they'll release Zorro movies (was there more than one?), and it'd be nice if the series was published, too. The rest of TV is coming out as season collections. I'd think Disney could treat Zorro much like their 2-DVD movie release of Davy Crockett.... and/or given the WD Treasures treatment.

SIGN Of ZORRO I own all of these films in the rare White Clamshell Editions, I personally Love SMITH! also. It is worth a lot I saw one go for $125 used on E-bay a few days ago.

I voted for "Incredible Journey." I'd also like to see "Jungle Cat" and "Sign of Zorro," but I'm sort of hoping (fantasizing?!) that I might see them as part of a Walt Disney Treasure set some day ...
