Well, Disney has out done themselves this year when it comes to movies, a very exciting year it has been/will be.

Well, so far we've had two Disney live action films pass us by, The Pacifier and Ice Princess. I have yet to see both (don't care for Ice Princess though), so I can't say on how the films were. I hear Vin Diesel did an interesting job on his take on a comedy. I know The Pacifier wasn't a favorite with critics but it still managed to do well. Bravo Walt Disney Pictures.

Ice Princess, despite a cast that includes Kim Catrall and Joan Cusack, doesn't appeal to me (or apparently not a whole lot of movie goers except the young teen girl crowd).

Has anyone seen these two yet? How would you rate them?

Also, we have 2 really highly anticipated ones, one for me, being Herbie: Fully Loaded!!!!! :D I don't know about you guys but I for one can't wait to see this come June 24th. Boasting a cast that includes the foxy Lindsay Lohan, Matt Dillion, Michael Keaton, Breckin Meyer and Justin Long, not too mention seeing Herbie on the big screen again (with a new plot twist), this will give me a big reason to go to the movie theater to see it. I'm glad Disney kept Herbie in his classic VW design rather than give him the Beetle type update. That would've been tragic. And from what jimhillmedia reports, when they recently did a test screening in Pasadena, California, the audience really liked. As said, I will go see this, or if not, for sure own this on Disney DVD when the time comes.

And then there's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe: The Chronicles of Narnia. There's lots of fanfare surrounding this Disney/Walden Media production. While not boasting any big name stars (lots of newcomers), this movie has been slowly buidling up hype. I can't say much on it yet, not a fan of the books. We'll see as the time approaches for this and we get a full length trailer.

Opinions, anyone?

From what I was from the trailer, Chicken Little looks like it will be alright.
But I'm looking forward towards The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe too.

Yeah I am actually starting to think the same thing now I am Kind of dissapointed that it got pushed back a year I was already to see it in theaters. Now is it just me or does Chicken Little's voice sound different now ? I was watching the trailer on the Incredibles DVD and it just sounds different anyone else noticed that ?

Out of all of those, it would have to be The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I loved the book when I was younger, and I hope the movie turns out well.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

WETA did a fantastic job for LOTR. It will be interesting to see other material from them.

As said before, I'm going with Herbie: Fully Loaded, it's packing the star power, and it looks very clever indeed.

And now my eyes are opening up to the Lion,Witch and Wardrobe, too. Might be the next LOTR type of smash.

I've split this away from the other thread since as a poll thread, it opened itself to one-line replies. Those replies which sought to add some discussion now find themselves in this thread, which will hopefully breed more conversation on the films apart from the other.
