I personally haven't started college (or as we properly call it in England:
U N I V E R S I T Y), but I'm probably going to take a degree in French and another foreign language. I really like the idea of doing a new language (the German language is frustrating), but I don't exactly know what yet.

I see that someone is taking Calculus I. I tried Pre-calculus in my first semester of college, and I could NOT do it. So I withdrew from it. :(

Well, this is only my second semester of my freshman year, but here it goes:

Cultural Anthropology
Chinese Language & Culture
Introduction to Literary Studies
Beginning Creative Writing - Fiction

Last Semester:

Literature and Culture
Introduction to Psychology
U.S. History to 1877
Texas Government
Art History I
Scholar's Community Seminar

AP Credits:
English Composition I
English Composition II
Undergraduate Literature Studies

Is it just me, or are Texas Universities more stirct in terms of CORE requirements? Everyone seems to be taking major-related classes on here. In Texas, we have so many CORE requirements, like six hours math, six hours science, and so on. I'm saving all those for summer school at my local community college, but man, is it a hassle!

Next Semester:

Shakespeare - Major Works
Race and Anthropology
Beginning Creative Writing - Poetry
British Literature II
Memoir and Mexican American Identity

This Summer:

National Government
College Algebra
Finite Math

It's about how Christian religion talks about human sexuality.

Some ver basic and stupid concepts, really.

Like on Genesis it says that God created man and woman... So we must understand by this that homosexuality was never meant to be.

And things like that.

I would sure hope it would actually be about human sexuality but not. Just things like that.

A complete waste of time but I have to take it. A year of these theology curses to graduate since I study in a Catholic University.

PS

The next one I have to take is : Jesus of Nazaratet-Apocalypse

Oh, I like the class and I take notes and pay attention (very interesting, we just finished personality and are moving on to the disorders) but I suck at the tests. She puts situations that pertain to a million possibilities and ask us to choose one, instead of just asking us the defination. I've never had a prof do that. I read the book and read for the book quizzes, but i still suck, cause it seems like on half of the q's we didn't study it!

Well, this is my third year, but things are little odd right now. I am currently only taking one class- Advanced Web Pages and HTML/XML. (I was taking 3 others, but my dad died on Faburary 14, so I had to drop the rest)

LizzieMcGuire, you must make use of this next time:

www.ratemyprofessors.com
...unless that's the only professor teaching or time slot you can take which leaves you screwed in the end. :(
Good Luck with the Class!

--------------------------------------------------------

Wow, Evil Genie Jafar, that sounds like an interesting class. Sorta.
I'm Catholic, but I wouldn't want to take that class.
*whew, good thing it's not required here! :p

--------------------------------------------------------

sealightbreeze, hope things are okay... R.I.P. to your dad.
