The fullscreen incredibles DVD is not reformatted

I alredy have the widescreen one from disney direct but i bought the fullscreen version too thinking it was reformatted like pixars other movies because i wanted to have both but it's not even reformatted,It's panned and scanned very badly and most of the movie appears squished,it's most noticeable when there is something on the screen that is supposed to be perfectly round,like violet's forcefields,they appear egg-shaped in the full-scam version and it's very distracting,I could not even watch the whole movie because i was so distracted by the picture being so sqashed.

That IS the reformat. They try to squish most of the picture so the audience won't miss anything. A pan and scan simply cuts parts out and shifts through the screen showcasing roughly about 70% of the movie each time...

This movie pans,scans and squishes the picture at the same time.
I have never seen a movie that looked so noticably squished.
The other pixar movies are re-rendered and have objects moved closer together in order for them to still appear in the frame.
The Incredibles does not have any of the picture re-rendered,It just looks like they literally squished the picture and figured people wouldn't notice.

How do you know when a movie is pan and scan? Is it when there's no black bars or something

Not only is the fullscreen version really noticeably squished but it is panned and scanned worse that any movie i've seen.

I don't understand why anyone would buy a fullscreen version of a DVD when they already own the widescreen version. What a waste of disposable income.

You look for things that seem to get chopped off, or actions that happen off screen, although sometimes pan and scanning is done well, and sometimes no one can decide whether it is full screen, open matte or pan and scan like with The Fox and the Hound.

Disjointed legs are always a good indicator of pan and scan! Also conversation shots were there are talking noses and chopped-off backs of heads.
