Son of Flubber

Read this in this weeks copy of UK TV listings magazine RADIO TIMES and thought it was kinda amusing:
"Hasbro probably wished it had never produced a tie-in toy for Son of Flubber. A mixture of rubber, mineral oil and green food dye, flubber caused body rashes and sore throats and was withdrawn after the company received over 1,600 complaints. Having retested the product on volunteer jailbirds to confirm the effects, Hasbro tried to incinerate the entire supply only for it to cause a dense black cloud to appear over Providence, Rhode Island. Then the product was dumped at sea, only for it to float back to the mainland. Finally, company president Merrill Hassenfeld decided to bury the stuff under the staff car park - although employees subsequently claim to have seen flubber seeping through cracks in the tarmac on hot summer days."
