Whose "power" is most valuable in The Incredibles?

In The Incredibles, the characters are and their "powers" are:
Mr. Incredible - strength
Elastigirl - flexibility/elasticism
Violet - force fields and invisibility
Dash - speed
JackJack - transfiguration
Frozone - create ice
Edna - amazing fashion designer

My brother and I had a Debate over whose power would be more valuable. Granted, each one brings something to the table, but which, in your opinion, is the most valuable?

Personally, I think the most valuable is Violet. If they can't touch you they can't cause you pain and if they can't see you then they can't touch you but you can also sneak up to them and get them. But that's just my opinion.

My brother thinks Dash...

What do you all think?

I'd have to say DASH.

think Superman.

Violet lucked out getting the double whammy! I think all the powers were used effectively in the film. Being flexible wouldn't seem like the greatest, but Elastigirl wound up using her powers about as much as anyone else to save the family. We only caught a few glimpses of Frozone, and as cool as the ice powers may be (no pun intended, I swear) it seems kind of limited in its use.

I don't think I can come up with an answer, other than to point out the obvious that Violet's two powers seem to put her at an advantage.

my vote goes for Violet, if they can't see you or touch you than you can't get hurt.

near the end when the whole family got cought and were all held in that energy chains thing (whatever it is called), Strenth, Speed, Flexability didn't help, only the force field got them out, Now thats cool.

Personally, I've always thought invisibility would be a cool power to have, so naturally I'm inclined to pick Violet, and the force fields are just a cool bonus.

Well, they all have powers that'll help out in certain situations, but I also think Violet's powers are most valuable...Invistibility AND force fields...

Violet and Dash together in my opinion have the most useful powers... Jack-Jack also seems to have a fair amount of powers including (*HUGE spoiler ahead for anyone who hasn't seen the new short) invisibility, gravitation and transformation... When he grows up he'll probably become the most powerful! :)

Well, Violet's would be the most valuable to the animators - an invisible girl is really easy to animate :)

Although, from what we've seen - JackJack is scary powerful.

LOL!

I'll have to agree with you on Jack-Jack, but if I had super powers I'd have to go with Violet. And I think it's really cool that her powers were initially an extention of her personality, but later fed the confidence she so totally needed to be comfortable with being herself.

Actually, you may have a point. The supers need uniforms that match and work with their special abilites, otherwise they couldn't have two separate identities!

And besides, did you notice how she's in total control of everything when she's talking to Bob and Helen? It's the only time you ever see Helen intimidated in any situation, including arguing with her extrememly powerful husband, battling the menacing villians and the omnidroid, and piloting a jet that's being shot down. Woah! Edna just may have a very strong power after all, LOL!

Violet because invisibility is downright awsome!

Hopefully Brad Bird decides to make a sequel and we'll see Jack-Jack in his full potential.

I'm partial to Violet, myself... but I'm biased, I think. 'Cause Sarah Vowell is teh kewlies!

Of course, the point made about Jack Jack is quite true, too. Who knows just how powerful that kid is? :brick:

Man, can you imagine having to raise him and deal with all those powers? I mean, imagine the terrible twos! And I don't even want to think about when he's a brooding teen!
