Well, considering in other regions- The Lion King 1 1/2 was called The Lion King III: Hakuna Matata, so if they made a III for us, I suppose it would be VI!

As much as I do like The Lion King trilogy, having a fourth one would only..
"kill my love" for Simba and the gang.

Lion King is a great movie but they shouldn't make anymore sequels in my opinion because it will never be as good.
Lion King 2 was alright and then Lion King 1 1/2 was terrible. Almost all sequels suck.
So I don't think they should make a Lion King 3

While I am a big Lion King fan,I'm happy with the three movies we have(of course the original was the best,but Lion King 2 was good,and Lion King 1 1/2 was funny)...I don't want another sequel if they're just going to make it about Kiara and Kovu's cub(s)....

Lion King 3 should focus on Simba's death.

I heard they were thinking about it and then scrapped the idea. Kinda like with Dumbo 2.

How is that harsh? Kimba died at the end of Jungle Emperor Leo story. The story goes from Kimba birth to childhood to adulthood to fatherhood to death. The complete circle of life.

If they did make a sequel I think it should be about Simba handing over the "throne" to Kira and how he struggles with losing his "title". Just an idea. Don't know how well it'd do, though.

Technically Lion King one and a half is Lion King 3. Look at the dates Lion King 2 and Lion King one and a half came out. Lion King 2 came out before Lion King one and a half. I think they did mention that Lion King 2 concluded the circle of life.

Yes. But the Lion King has nothing to do with Kimba. Remember?

Lion King 3 should focus on a group of Disney executives on safari who will come across Pride Rock and get eaten by Simba & Co. But I'd rather not have any more sequels at all to this film...

Though in Theory your plot idea is really good. The Cirlce of life did end with the Lion King 2 and Lion King 1 1/2 was just another way to look at the original Lion King. Going abck after doing all that would be some what reduandent. Okay but thats just me .

As much as I loathe the TLK cheapquels, that doesn't exactly influence my opinion of "no more TLK" - rather it's what people have said here already. It's more about logistics - the latest cheapquel was called Lion King 3 in some parts of the world, so making a fourth would be a bit sticky with titling.

Wasn't LK 1.5 it also advertised as Lion King 3 in other parts of the world?

I wouldn't want ANOTHER LK story. I feel Lion King 2 closes the story rather well.
