This thing is pretty cool.

I've been having so much fun with this film and its not even out yet! I found Rice Crispy Treat Squares with a SW Cookie jar offer, Pop Tarts with a SW contest and some of the ships in stores. Its like a big treasure hunt and I love it!
Also for those who don't already know, the full 2 and a half minute trailer will be on FOX Thursday night at 9 on a show called the O.C. It will be online after that and will be in theaters with the movie Robots. Enjoy!

That poster's gorgeous. Drew Struzan (the artist who did it) is such an amazing artist. I wish more studios would go to him to make their posters instead of just photoshopping a bunch of publicity stills. I'd love to see him do Chronicles of Narnia posters for Disney. As for Star Wars itself, I plan on seeing this opening night (just three days before I graduate!).

I saw this on
Entertainment Tonight tonight but of course the phone had to ring just as it came on.
Anyways this is my favourite of the three prequel posters.

I am really hopeful this will be a lot better than the first two. Hopefully, it will at least work as a prequel to the other three movies by themselves as I have little desire to ever see episodes one or two again.

I'm just hoping that it's not mean-spirited!

I'm hoping that it is. It may make up for the excessive tweeness of the first two.
I know Anakin fell from the light to the dark side, but did they have to make the kid so annoying and wholesome? "Yippee!!" Does anyone actually say, "Yipee?" Anywhere? He was like the male Pollyanna. It would have been better if he was a lonely outsider or something.
And Hayden was just a bratty boy-band member, who seemed more spoiled that twisted.

I am not sure how to avoid excessive meanness given the start of A New Hope. It would seem that this is necessarily going to be a very dark picture featuring the worst of the soul. Or else it just wont make any sense.

Guys! I was kidding there again...
Anyway, I've been watchin gthis show, The O.C., and it pretty much sucks. I am writing this at 8:29 and still no trailer, so there is a half hour left to show it. I saw a lil sneak preview on Access Hollywood and I told my brother that this preview is going to make him spontaneously bust with joy! This show is really boring, but it'll all have been worth it to receive this 2 and a half minute gift!
To Loomis's "Does anyone actually say, "Yipee" anywhere?" No, its not here on Earth, so they can say that. And Hayden wasn't too twisted yet, simply arrogant. Anyway, just wait until you see this trailer! Yeah baby!

I just watched the preview twice, absolutely incredible! Everything that I hoped for and expected. I will be spending much time at the movie theater in May!

You have to remember that there is only so much an Actor can do with a script that has some really weird lines. But I also think that a lot of people didn't like his acting in AOTC because of his character. I mean, he acts the way he does because it's not only what he is going through, but how he is feeling, and he's very expressive, so it just shows. I don't think Anakin was ever intended to be this perfect character either, he was gifted, as we saw in TPM, he was a really an extraordinary, intelligent kind little boy..but things just got harder for him, he lost so much, his master, and his mom. He likes and dislikes Obi-Wan (he also is so frustrated with him because he feels he's holding him back), loves Padme..etc, etc, and etc. So he has to deal with so much, and he doesn't want to fail, he wants to be the best, and wants to be the most powerful. In a way I think he is trying to hard, way too hard, and it all drives him insane. But I also think a lot of people pick on him because of the way George wrote some of the lines, like I said above, Hayden is just acting, and I don't necessarily think he is a bad actor at all, but people say that he is so whiny. So either they aren't realizing it's the lines, or what he HAS, IS, and WILL go through. I mean, this is Anakin....the one who becomes Vader. He isn't going to act perfect. Just don't confuse the actor and the character up.

my God, look at Yoda on that poster... from puppet to CG action figure and back to puppet. The order in wich these movies are supposed to be, it just looks completely redicolous in my opinion. Sorry, can't help it but I just can't seem to warm up to George's "original vision"...

I'll still go see it for the sake of it, maybe it is awesome, what do I know
