Cardboard slip covers in the club?

I was thinking about joining the club, but in some of the posts I've read that sometimes the club dvds are sent without the slip cover like one would buy in the store.
Do club dvds generally come complete with the slip covers or just as a sealed dvds? I thought perhaps the other post was just a fluke, but I'd like to know before joining.

missmelindam!

What I've gathered from the members who are in DMC, sometimes the DVD does
not come with a slipcover.

I didn't join...because SLIPCOVERS are important to me!:P
If you are missing any slipcovers, you can call the DISNEY CUSTOMER SERVICE (1-800-72-DISNE) and ask them if they still have extra slip covers...just say yours tore or got damaged.

I just received my DVD's and both Bambi and Aladdin had a slip cover.
Hopefully all other movies that I order from the club in the future will come with a slip cover as well.

Mary Poppins had a slipcover.
I also got Finding Nemo and... something else (Alice in Wonderland?) that didn't have slip covers. I read somewhere that after the dvd has been produced for a while the later ones don't come with slip covers...
But I was going to call about them soon to ask Disney to send them

If it's one of these more recent titles that are added to the club fairly soon after being released, then you'll probably get one. Otherwise, it's a toss-up and you're taking a risk. If that's the case and slip-covers are important to you, then I say make that purchase a B&M (brick & mortar) one. I tend to rely on the club for non-major releases, and that's really where it's most useful, I think.

Yeah, but you don't see me lying to get them!
Anyways, yeah, I got my Club order today, and my Mary Poppins HAD a slipcover.
