I wonder why Luke took all the credit.
He post it on the front page and didn't credit the person who found it.
I know that animated-news found it but I post it on the forum first.

The Herbie Movies are by far my favorite live action Disney films.
And I have been excited for this new one for quite some time, even the teaser trailer looked like it still had potential (despite lindsay lohan).

However, after viewing this most recent preview, it appears that all of the former magic is gone. Herbie isnt real, and they made no attempt to make him look real, hes just something that lives in a computer somewhere. This destroys everything I liked about the first movies, how they were able to convey so much of Herbies emotions through his actions and horn sounds... not by actually giving him a face that looks like it could be made out of flubber.

I'll still go see it, and I'll still probably buy it, but to me, this is a major disappointment.

Well, MickeyMousePal, THANK YOU for finding the trailer for UD Members to enjoy!

I liked the preview/movie! :D I haven't seen the past movies...so I didn't notice any loss of "magic" there.

yay, Lindsay Lohan! (yea, she's okay..when you compare her to Hillary Duff! :P)

Well I think the movie certainly looks promsising, they've gone for a different angle to the Herbie story, It's a race obviously but thankfully it doesn't seem to be a re-tread of the other films. I wonder if the similarities between this and Cars will do any damge to the latter's box office or in fact increase it?

I have to admit though, that CGI is UGLY and looks ridiculously obvious!

Well I'm not gonna watch it now, I'll save it for when I see Pacifier later today. But I give credit to my main man MMP for finding the trailer! :thumb:
