These, in my opinion, are worth watching....

Lady and the Tramp- classic Disney!
Pinocchio- more classic Disney, but not one of my personal favorites....
The Hunchback of Notre Dame- one of the best Disney 90's films...
The Jungle Book- C-A-L-A-SS-IC
The Three Caballeros- very enjoyable, seek out Joe Carioca's opinion :D

Fun and Fancy Free: From my childhood..what can I say?! :) Memories and good ones too. That Bongo was surely entertaining! :D I watched it last month (can't find time to watch it again) and I was soooo giddyish! you know that feeling when something from your childhood returns? But if you haven't seen it as a kid, I don't know if you'll like it as much as I do! ;)

Lady and the Tramp
: tooo great! Disney did well with this romance and animated movie! Definitely worth a watch!

Pinocchio
: I dunno about this one. I found it to be okay. You know, it's magical and very full of well-taught lessons! :) But I don't consider this a favorite. :(

Hunchback: This is GREAT! The animation, the music, the story...very entertaining! I'm also hoping for a better release (quality wise) for this DVD! It deserves a 2-Disc.

The Jungle Book
: Too awesome! You'll remember the songs because its soo catchy. The storyline is awesome as well! And great and fun characters too! :)

(adding from what Mermaid Kelly added...btw, where have you been?! I hardly see you posting! :P)

Atlantis: This was a good movie; a VERY interesting story, filled with cool scenes! :) It's different from what other DISNEY movies are like, but that's not a bad thing! ;) One thing though: DONT watch ATLANTIS 2. It just kills the essence of the first movie.

I wish I could've seen the other movies that you mentioned, but for now...that list will do.

Lady and the Tramp is a great movie with loveable characters and catchy songs! I love it! :)
Pinnochio I haven't seen since I was little, but as fas as I remember, it is an enjoyable movie
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame I saw once....I didn;t really like it that much....but maybe that's just me
The Jungle book was one of my favorites when I was little! I haven't seen it recently, but it is a great movie! I still remember almost all the words to the song, "The Bare Nessessities!"
The Three Caballeros I don't remember very well, but I remember the theme song.....and that Donald is funny in the movie :)

I hope this helps! :)

-The Sword in the Stone: I watched this movie not to long ago and it was alright but certainly not one of my favorites overall i'd say it is worth a watch
-Atlantis: The Lost Empire: I started watching this movie once and i just found myself dozing off it was just not the movie for me although many people say it's a good one overall i don't think it is worth watching but i can't really say that since a bit more than halfway through i turned it off.

Its hard to describe Fantasia because there is nothing like it. Its the first music vidoe, so to speak, except instead of singers you have unbilievable animation that accompanies the great classical music. Its a must see.

Fantasia 2000, same thing except for the unbilievable part, its ok.

Great Moues Detective: great story and characters. A Sherlock Holmes parody by Disney w/ mice, what more could you want??

Sword in the Stone: underrated classic, great style (similar to aristocats, robin hood, and 101 dalm.), rough, sketch-looking animation. Memorable characters and some catchy tunes. Another must see.

THe others I haven't seen.

As for Melody Time, I think it's one of the weaker ones ... the whole affair is rather ... I don't know. Now, I adore the Once Upon a Wintertime thing, with the rabbits and people ... and the ice. I love that one. Saw that one before I saw the movie ... cause it was on some sing-along tape. And I liked the bumblebee bit, but ... overall, I felt the numbers were a bit weak.

I'll go ahead and vouch for Lady And The Tramp! Without a doubt my favorite Disney Movie of all time. I very recently bought the Limited Issue DVD off eBay and have since watched it almost every night. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out on something special.

Here's my input, if you'd accept it...

Pinnochio- Being Disney's second animated feature, it's instantly a classic! I think it's a beautifully done movie, and when it's restored again we'll see it's true brilliance!

The Sword in the Stone- i've always loved this movie, it's not one of the public's favorite's but it is one of mine!

Lady and the Tramp- I love this movie because it's sooo different from what disney was doing at the time. It deals a lot more with love and how true love conqueres all and doens't really have a comical side, it's trully just a love story.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame- if they were ever to release this on broadway i'd sooooo wanna be in it, i know this will never happen, but a guy can dream, haha. i think the best part of this movie is it's music, it's beautiful.

The Jungle Book- It's never really been one of my favorites, but i know a ton of people who would beg to differ. It's one of the classics, and it will be a platinum edition so i would assum you all would like it!

Atlantis- I think this is one of the most underapprieciated disney movies ever! i think it's a great, fun, and beautiful movie. I think any true disney fan will enjoy it! i think the only reason why it didn't do too well was the fact that the animation for this movie was different than most of the other films, it had a lot of squares in it, like the characters finger tips. i'd hate to say that this might have crippled it's chances in the box office, but it was what kapt me from seeing the film in the theaters.

The Fantasia's- They both have wonderful animation and wonderful music, if you like both of these things in combination you'll naturally love these movies!

Fantasia: I did not enjoy at all. The only good part is The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which is easily one of the best Mickey Mouse shorts out there. I would be willing to purchase the DVD just for this segment, that is if I didn't already have it on Mickey Mouse In Living Colour Volume 2 ;)

Fun And Fancy Free: Bongo is kinda slow and boring, and the interludes with Edgar Bergen and Luanna Patten are forgettable at best, however Mickey and the Beanstalk is a great little featurette and well worth the investment

Adventures of Ichabod And Mr. Toad: I have only seen the Sleepy Hollow portions of this movie, and thus will only comment on that section. Simply amazing. This is an absolute classic that is a must for any Disney fan.

The Sword In The Stone: This is not everyone's cup of tea, but it is my second favorite Disney movie, behind Aladdin (Yes, it is THAT good). Merlin and Archimedes are an absolute hoot (if you'll forgive the pun  ), and Madam Mim, a classic Disney villain in every sense of the word (Her idea to only specify Pink Dragons and then get around that rule is quite clever and sneaky). A truly underrated classic and a must own.

The Black Cauldron: While it doesn't hold a candle to many Disney classics, it is still a respectable movie and one that I would recommend for a rent at the very least. I really enjoyed this movie, and plan on buying it in the near future, but there are a lot out there who did not like it in the slightest. Be warned, this is a much more mature Disney movie than most out there, don't go in expecting the Disney norm.

The Great Mouse Detective: Although it's been years since seeing this movie, I still remember it as an all-time great. This is truly an underrated classic that deserves a 2-disc set (along with The Sword In The Stone and The Black Cauldron as their current releases leave something to be desired). A must-own, to be sure.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire: It should have stayed lost. I didn't care about any of the characters or the storyline. Some here will swear by it, but not me. I found myself practically asleep by the end (although I didn't actually fall asleep, I came pretty darn close at points). I'm avoiding this one like the plague myself, but hey, who knows you might like it. It's so hard to say

This was one thing that killed the movie for me, was it's styling. The square and sharp-edged styling was VERY hard on the eyes and I did not like it in the slightest. Emperor's New Groove was somewhat similar, but was still rounded enough to be kind to the eyes. Atlantis didn't have much roundness at all. Walt probably wouldn't have been impressed, as he liked to keep his characters rounded and pleasing to the eyes. That's part of the secret to good animation, keep everything (characters, objects and backgrounds) pleasing to the eyes.

Mulan: VERY enjoyable movie. It is a hark back to the classical musicals and is a great story. The SE is worth picking up if you enjoy the movie. The special features aren't exactly Platinum worthy, but they are enjoyable. The main reason you would pick up the SE is if you want a good video transfer. This disc is the best this movie looks. I would definetely recommend both the movie and the SE

it's different- a girl plays the hero! in MULAN, the characters are enjoyable, the songs are soo memorable, and everything about it is wonderful! :)
if you are still unsure, you should try to borrow from a friend or rent it! :)

dangit! *slaps forehead* I knew something was wrong with my response :P

uhm, ok. the REAL answer should be YES, you should buy the MULAN SE DVD.

the only downside are those annoying dvd side snaps.

the artwork on the discs is great and so are the features.
My favorite had to be the music videos (i don't know why..maybe because I liked the songs :P)

yea, it's worth a buy :)

edit: oh yea, you should read Luke's review on it.

no, i don't think it's going in the vault any time soon. It's an SE not a PE (i mention that because Alice is still out there, and she's only ME..similar to SE ;)). Mulan just came out in..October I believe.
Maybe after you buy Bambi and The Incredibles (I sure hope you are getting that! :D), then you can buy Mulan. :)

My case didn't come with side snaps... come to think of it someone here mentioned that their Shrek 2 came with side snaps, but mine didn't again. I guess we're just not worried about shoplifters up here in Canada
