Are there any differences between the tin Disney Treasures and the Disney Treasures Boxset?

If you are referring to the box set of 10 yes there is but only in packaging. You dont get the pre numbered tins or the little blue thing signed by Roy Disney and I believe you dont get the little mini poster of one of the cartoons but the content of the DVDs is exactly the same.(and thats what really matters)

I'm really only looking for the DVDs. I fear if I buy the boxset, episodes will be missing. Is the boxset 10 discs or 14 discs?

14, since it contains the first 2 waves. Content is exactly the same, only thing you are missing are the tins and the lithograph. Getting the boxset is a good idea if you want to save some cash.

You don't get the nice little collector's cards? Well that sucks! Those things are really nice. I'm sure if you called Disney, they would supply them though. They supplied me with a card for my Mickey Mouse In Living Colour which came with no inserts whatsoever.
