Hi,
I am a lover of disney digipacks and I am trying to buy as many from France as
I can, cause I think that is the only country which produces them, but as I
live in Spain, I don't know how many there are. I know the following exist:

Sleeping Beauty
Beauty and the Beast
Peter Pan
Lion King
Fantasia Anhology
Atlantis

And that's all the movies I am sure they exist as digipack in France. Please,
can somebody informe how many more Disney movies have been released as
digipacks in France?

I include Pixar Movies too.... so I hope
somebody can informe about those digipacks...

Thanks

I believe that Snow White may have a digipack in France, as does Treasure
Planet and Treasure Island combo, but that's all that I seem to know.

I believe the French Walt Disney Treasures releases are in Digipacks too - but
like the rest of the world, some of the American Treasures (mainly the
live-action ones) haven't been released in France yet.

For Pixar: the Toy Story Anthology, A Bug's Life (I own it, pretty great),
Monsters Inc

Other Disney: Brother Bear 3-Disc Deluxe Edition (awesome packaging ! not bad
the contents of the discs suck...), Snow White.

But you know, now BVHE France has stopped producing digipacks and we're rater
like all european countries now : a non-openned slipcase.

As I live in France I bought those digipacks at the beginnig but then I
realized that in, many ways US Region 1 are better in spite they're ain't
digipack. So I try to habe both French digipack release and US Region 1 for
msot DVDs :)

Thanks, Jordan. Buy why do you say region 1 Disney dvds are better in many
ways to the region 2 french digipacks. The contents of the discs aren't the
same?

Well sometimes the contents of the discs themselves with some missing bonus features or stuff but very few and not on many DVDs. The example that come to my mind is the cut on the Making Of Snow White which was longer in the region 1 DVD than in all the regions 2. You had something more on the merchandising of the '30s and other things too...
You can compare the DVDs of the different regions, in a matter of contents, in this website : http://www.dvdcompare.net

For me the real things are about the presentation : R1s feature great informative booklet on the film and the bonus features (especially the Platinum Edition titles or DVD such as Monsters Inc or the Toy Story Anthology) whereas you've got absolutely nothing in that area in the French sets.
The second thing is, to me, when you have a track Dolby Digital Disney Enhanced Home Theater Mix in 5.1. In France, you only have that track in the shape of DTS (and I can't play DTS) and on the French language track not on the Rnglish one.

The above are for me the main reasons to prefer region 1 DVds rather than region 2. But I bought a lot both to own the beautiful digipacks too. But now, there's no more digipacks DVD release so that settles it ! :)

A digipack is a DVD presentation as opposed to the classic amaray case.
It is made of a slipcover and a kinda "DVD booklet" which holds the DVDs. Both of the slipcover and "booklet" are made of carton.

Ex with the french release of The Lion King :
