Disney Customer Service

Hey guys!

I had to put a thread in this forum about Disney's Customer Service. This customer service line is above and beyond anything I have ever called before. They were willing to go the little extra for me, despite the fact that I had not called there before. I called looking for inserts for my Mickey Mouse In Living Colour Volume 1 DVD, and ended up getting the inserts, the cover (I really didn't think they'd be able to supply me with this!), and the slipcover for my Alice In Wonderland: Masterpiece Edition DVD.
The people I talked to were really friendly, and sounded nothing like the normal customer service reps I normally talk to (who usually sounded clinically depressed).

Anyways, I just really wanted to praise the great work these reps are doing, as I'm sure they don't get enough praise already.

They are fantastic--they have some of the best customer service around, really and are a lot easier to talk to than other customer representatives who really don't sound as though they have any interest whatsoever when it comes to helping you out.

So kudos to them for their exceptional service! ;)

Sorry to drag this thread out of the woodwork, but I must praise Disney's customer service line once more, as I just recieved my items that I ordered, well ahead of the 10 day time frame they gave me. So, if anyone here is a member of the staff there, or knows someone who is..... Thank you all! You've been wonderful and gone above and beyond the call of duty for me! Thanks again!

Do you have the number you can call, I had it written down but lost it I guess. I was gonna try to get a Finding Nemo slipcover, and I bought a 101 dalmatians II from ebay, they said it was new but when I got it the cover was all messed up so I was gonna try and get a new one. But I doubt they would have either of them.

They just sent me a Beauty and the Beast slipcover yesterday so I'm pretty sure they'll have some Finding Nemo slipcovers left over.

One thing though, they can get a bit irate if you call them too much. Well, I guess that depends largely on which representative you get but I got a rather snippy one last time.

Thanks I'll give it a try :) And I'll be sure not to call to often. I've only called them once, and it was to order movies. They were very nice and helpful. Maybe I should try to get a new Beauty and the Beast slipcover, mine has a HUGE sticker on it

*BUMP*

sorry to bump this up, but there have been posts of people asking for DISNEY's C.S. number and how they are...

1-800-72-DISNE

MON: 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (central)
TUES-FRIDAY: 9:30 a.m - 6:30 p.m. (central)

yes, this is the number you call for those missing slipcovers!

That's outrageous... Maybe that's why I will never call them. Wait a minute, how many times did you call them at that point?

Hm, it was my 3rd time calling them. It was to tell them that I had waited for 3 weeks for something they said they would send but I never received. Maybe [my customer rep.] thought I was hoarding whatever I had asked for previously but he became quite the interrogator.

[EDIT: So I spot the typos now. Hrm.]

Well that certainly would have rattled me.

Well, they are certainly wonderful. I've called many times for different things, and they've always been able to help. They've sent me many slipcases (Sleeping Beauty: Special Edition, A Bug's Life: Collector's Edition, Finding Nemo: Collector's Edition, Pirates of the Caribbean: Collector's Edition, and Alice In Wonderland: Masterpiece Edition), a couple of inserts (The insert and collector's card for my Mickey Mouse In Living Colour: Volume 1 DVD) and a cover wrap (Also for Mickey Mouse In Living Colour: Volume 1). They were also helpful in giving me the information to send in my Silly Symphonies set for the disc replacement program.

I think their mood is completely based upon who you get and what kind of day they've had

If you were me or him?

I still remember his voice so if I ever need to call again and he's my rep, I'll hang up. XD Or I'll just send stuff to my friend's house since she's never asked them for anything.

I must add to the "disney customer service praises." They were wonderful both times i've called. So polite, so helpful, so sweet. I LOVE it. It's kinda like finding the "right" doctor...the one that is professional but in such a caring way....i know it's a weird comparison, but I just had my wisdom teeth pulled and my oral surgeon was a DREAM

i called twice to order Slipcovers and they ended up sending me inserts, coupons and lots of stickers. both times they were wonderful and very helpful.

they told me the item should arrive withing 7-10 days, but mine to longer because the Lion King II slipcover was out of stock so i had to wait a few days for them to receive more, and even though i had to wait i still got it in 14 days.
