I have only experienced the Walt Disney World version of this ride. I loved it! Little did I know that it was gone, however, until I visited in 2000 and found it replaced by Winnie the Pooh. Curses!

Oh, one of my favorite rides! (I must've said that 10 times amoung these attractions threads so far) Nothing too inventive about it, but it's incredibly fun - and its nice to have some recognition for a lesser-known character in the parks, especially a character from one of the most under-rated movies of all time! My favorite part is where it looks like the train runs over you. That used to freak me out as a youngin'.
BTW, for you avid WDW goers out there, just in case you didn't know, this ride is still open as Disneyland in CA, and won't likely close anytime soon.

For some reason, I didn't know that this ride was still open at Disneyland. I know I went to Disneyland a short time after it closed at Disney World and was relieved to find it there still. And now, come to think of it, the Disneyland Pooh ride is in Critter Country, isn't it? All the more reason to visit Disneyland, I guess!!!
Aside from my rambling, my best/worst memory of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was when I first went on it at Disney World when I was 5. I got to "steer" the car, which made me feel very grown-up until toward the end when we came to the dark area along the train tracks. My parents told me that I had taken a wrong turn and that now we were lost in the ride. I was terrified. Needless to say, it all turned out in the end!

No, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland isn't my favorite ride I usually don't ride it. But the line for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is very long when I usually go to Disneyland.
Why do people like this ride so much? For me I think the ride is too short.

Yeah, and that's really where it belongs. IMO, Pooh doesn't fit in with the whole Fantasyland feel whatsoever. Critter Counry (at least in Disneyland anyway), has always been themed as a very woodsy, sort of backwoods place, and it feels a lot like the Hundred Acre Wood - teh perefect place for a Pooh ride!

I like Mr. Toad's Ride. It's on of my "must go on" rides whenever I visit Disneyland.

Unfortunately, there is no Critter Country in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World, which is probably why it ended up in Fantasyland.

This ride is one of the Top 3 of Fantasyland for me. If it's a cold night, that trip through Hell can really warm me up (as well as steam up my glasses).
Other rides have this feature, but I love having individualized vehicles with different colors, names, or other features. If I'm driving the "Toady" car, look out world!

Well this is convenient given the name change.
Wind in the Willows was my favorite book as a child and I always loved seeing the movie on Disney TV shows on Sunday night. Probably my favorite dark ride at Fantasyland slightly beating out Peter Pan. Peter Pan is probably more fun as a ride but I have always loved the characters from this one. Really missed it when I went to DisneyWorld.
I know it is constantly under threat at Disneyland to be replaced but the WDW outcry seemed to save it.

I love the ride, but I usually never ride it. It is too bad that they took it out of Florida, I would have liked to ride and compare both versions.

When I go to Disneyland this summer, I will have to check out that ride, it looks fun. Ever since I was little, I have always been a huge fan of Wind In The WIllows.

I love all things Mr.Toad!!! I loved the book, the short film and the ride.

Mr.Toad is way cooler than Winnie the Pooh could ever hope to be.

Is this ride still under constant threat at Disneyland? I sure hope not - some things just need to stay the same. It's the number #2 ride for us every time we go (Peter Pan being the first).
