In the meantime, they are releasing some really cool action figures and an 18" talking Captain Jack Sparrow. Arrrrr!

I tend to whine that movies take forever to get released but the date will come quickly. I remember way back in 1995/1996 when I thought it was a century until the next Star Wars movie... and that was episode I. Episode III felt like it was an eternity away and now it's four months away.

I remember way back to 1983 thinking the same thing, luckily it only took 16 years to get another SW movie. Whew! Yeah Episode III!

apparently it's gonna be called Treasures of the Lost Abyss or smtn lik that... looking foward... also i heard that chapters II+III are going to be filmed back to back...so fingers crossed for a close release date on the third

I heard that Mick Jagger was cast as Jack Sparrow's dad. That would be quite interesting.

I read on another forum that they changed the subtitle to "Dead Man's Chest," but take that with a grain of salt because I'm not sure this is 100% true.

Johnny Depp wants Keith Richards (not Mick Jagger!) to play his father in the next Pirates film. Cap'n Jack Sparrow's walk, demeanor, so on and so forth, were based on Richards. I think they'll need captions for all of Richards' lines, though (assuming he accepts the role); it's getting harder and harder to understand what he's going on about.

I heard this rumor but I don't know yet if it's been confirmed if Keith Richards is supposed to play Johnny Depp's Dad in the sequel. I'd really like to know.
