Hey, i noticed some of the board topics were about computer games, so i just wondered if anyone here had bought a Nintendo DS, or wants to get one. Or would you rather get an Playstation PSP?
Myself, im undecided, i've heard many good and bad reviews, some say its a waste of time, and some say its amazing, so i would like to know your opinions please
 .
I still have alot of time to think about getting one, seeing as it isn't out in Europe till March.

Thanks

I don't want one because I don't like portable consoles. But today I played with it (a cousin has it), and I must say that it really surpassed my expectatives.
And it has some amazing games coming. Look for a trailer of already released Japanese games and your jaw will drop.

My boyfriend and his brother have an Nintendo DS and they're addicted to it. I tried playing it and surprisingly, I love it!

I especially like the touch-screen because you don't need to use the buttons to move the player (hard to explain that part...

)
It's A-W-E-S-O-M-E, and the games are extremely cool (a small&cute catridge!)...just expensive!

We're already saving to get the PSP (I think that comes out in March) just because he's addicted to those game consoles.

Madden 2005 and Super Mario 64 DS also!
Although since I'm a girl, I tend to hog the Super Mario one while I let him Play madden. Super Mario is FUN!

The system looks and plays great, but I'm waiting for more great games and a price drop before I pick this up. So far, Super Mario 64 DS is the only game I want for it.

I read today in a magazine today that in England the RRP will be £129, and they say that will be £50 more than in America.

I'll probably trade in some games if i'm going to get it in March, otherwise i'll have to wait some more for the price to come down.
A friend of mine imported a DS from America, which i played today, it was amazing from what i played. Im not really too much of a fan of the stylus, it could have been a bit longer, but overall, i was very impressed!

I don't have a DS, only the regular GBA and the GBA SP (I own the regular GBA, my sister owns the SP).
There aren't any DS games that interest me...maybe when Square Enix releases Final Fantasy IIIj in the United States I'll get one.

No, I don't have one. Whoever has one must be rich or must only of wanted the DS when they got it. The best hand-held system I have is my trusty GameBoy Color!

I don't have a Nintendo DS either. I'm not interested in some of the games for the DS. If the price of the DS falls, I might buy it.
I still have the Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP that my brother gave me last year.

I was actually supposed to get a DS for Xmas, but since my parents are short on money they couldnt afford one then, so whenever they get caught up, I will get one ASAP! The only thing is that there arent that many good games for it. I woulndt mind Super Mario 64, but the others dont seem that great.

I have been considering one because I want atleast one game that is coming out in the future. I have heard that they are $200 so I don't know, that does seem steep for it... it is only Nintendo DS.

I can't wait for Zelda the Minish Cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It comes out tomorrow! Yay!!!!

(I know it's technically not for the DS, but oh well! The DS plays Game Boy Advance games anyway!)
I love Zelda!!!! I love Nintendo!!!!!!!!!

I agree Mermaid Kelly The Minish Cap does look good. I've seen it in Gamestation alot lately, with the special edition gold SP. I might even get a cheap SP...and get a DS when i have more money, and more titles are available..i want to play Harvest Moon for the GBA, and that way i can still play the old gameboy games....hmmm..
I would get a GameBoy Player, but they're about £40 each, which i think is kinda expensive, seeing as they're not portable.
bye

The DS plays GBA games, which means it's backwards compatible all the way back to the first Game Boy.
