Time to admit our guilty pleasures...

...and this is not just limited to films. It can be about books, food and music too. Or maybe habits (in the case of some UDers, to do with clothes

). Okay, here are a few of mine:
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days:
Yes, this is a really really sugary and predictable chick flick, and considering that I'm a guy, I should hate this. However, I love it.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life
It's got hammy acting, a grim atmosphere and practicly every movie critic and historian in the world hates it. However, when I saw this in cinemas last year, I kinda liked it despite seeing how crummy it was.
Mc Donalds
One of the most evil corporations in the world, and some of the most unhealthy food in the whole world, I really should not like Mc Donalds. Unfortunately, I do. I only go in once or twice a year and find the food tasty, but when I come out, I feel bad for at least a day.
Sunset Beach
This gets re-runs sometimes in the UK and it is thoroughly awful. The actors look like Barbies and Kens and show off their plastic enhanced pecs while they act in a dreadful manner. But the scripts are sheer genius (Help! I'm blind! Cure me without the help of a doctor!).
Spending Money
I know I should save it for something useful, but yesterday I went on a mini spree through the post Christmas sales and bought a few DVDs when I'm supposed to be saving.
Internet-
I really should be doing work right now, not faffing around on here.

Hmm . . .
She-Spies on NBC
The last 2 LOTR movies
Alien vs. Predator
I go to McDonalds regularly, cause its very convenient, but I usually only get a McDoubleCheesburger or a McChickenSandwich off the McDollarMenu or mcsomething. And I always ask for my McReceipt and extra McNapkins (seriously

).

My gulity pleasures include:
Spicy Tuna roll and Philadelphia roll
Hallmark Ornaments
Fingernail Polish
Desperate Housewives and Charmed
The Last Action Hero, Uncle Buck & Zoolander
Pink shoes and purses
Old Zelda games
Dean Koontz novels
Nerdy conversations with someone else who shares my interests (philosophy or biology)
Maybe I'll think of more later...

This is a great idea. I can't wait to see what other people post.
Movies no one else likes - I love these movies but I'm afraid to mention them at times because so many others hate them such as 'Supergirl', the last two Batman movies, half the Ernest movies and a few others in there as well.
Certain CDs - I have a wide taste in music so some titles raise a few eyebrows when people see my collection. There are a few that really surprise people like my two Dido albums, Shakira's Laundry Service to name a few.
Animation - I love animation so much from Disney to Hanna-Barbera to so much more but my family thinks I'm crazy and I get odd looks when they see I have Disney DVDs. My friends don't see anything wrong though but then again my family is too stuffy.
McDonalds - I'll add that to my list too. I like it a whole lot even though it's unhealthy and un-filling. They have the tastiest darn cheeseburgers out there. It's not my favourite fast food joint (A&W wins there) but it's my favourite that most people I know kinda hate. I go more than I should but thankfully I'm slowing down again. I get some guilt because I should eat healthier. I always used to say, "Well I don't gain weight and I eat sooo much!" but then I realized there is much more than just gaining weight... my poor arteries!
Soaps - Silly soaps but I like them. I like how you can follow the lives of these characters no matter how silly it can get. I watch 'Days of Our Lives' and 'One Life to Live' and used to watch 'Port Charles' before it was cancelled. I sometimes feel guilty watching them because I used to know so many that made fun of them including me. Well as it turns out most of my friends watch them and a couple familiy members have gotten in on a few.
My Spendaholic Ways - I best leave this be. It makes me feel so good and then it crushes me.

I guess we're all confessing so here goes-
Judge shows-I simply love Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Judge Joe Brown and the People's Court! I could watch them every day (and do!)
Weekly entertaiment magazines (People, US, EW) I buy them all!
McDonalds for me as well. I guess it's comfort food, even if it is bad for us!
Planning my next trip to WDW. I have been back from my last trip for a month and I am already planning a trip to Disneyland for 2005.

Man, I wish the US would rerun its own soaps (well, we only rerun 3 canceled soaps on cable, but I don't get SoapNet, so I'm screwed). I loved Sunset Beach!
Anyways, my guilty pleasures do NOT include soaps, as a guilty pleasure is what you would never admit to liking, and I'm proud to admit I love soaps.
As for other guilty pleasures:
Movies - chick flicks, or as I like to call them, romantic films. "Chick flick" is so sexist, and I love romantic films like Ghost and Sabrina. Other movie GP's would have to be The Living Daylights (Timothy Dalton's first of two Bond films), the Gidget movies, and Moulin Rouge.
TV - as mentioned before, I won't say soaps, cause I'm proud to be a fan. But other shows I wouldn't admit to watching but I enjoy would have to be the saccharine sweetness of Full House, Two of a Kind (yes, the other Olsen Twins show), Saved by the Bell, Saved by the Bell: The College Years (universally loved by probably 10 people, me being one of them), The Facts of Life, and THE GOLDEN GIRLS
Books - I can't really think of any, but I love Catcher in the Rye while everyone else I know hated it. Also, even though they're definitely below my reading level, I still love to read childrens books, along with those thick "Great Illustrated Classics".
Music - Um, I only like old music, easy listening, and a few of the "pop" artists. But I'm willing to admit that Freaky Friday is one of my favorite soundtracks, right up there with such classics as Casablanca, Mary Poppins, etc.

As a fan of stuff from the 1980s, I have many guilty pleasures.
Police Academy Series: The most famous of my guilty pleasures. I reviewed each film separately for DVDBits.com and then did one mammoth review for it (which can be found
here). A possible low point for me, but a highlight of 2004
Various Music of the 1980s: Yes, I've been known to rock out to Spandau Ballet or The Human League or even 80s-sounding bands like Pink Grease or The Darkness
Silent Night, Deadly Night 1 & 2: I know its wrong but it feels so right.
Converse Shoes: I know they are now owned by Nike, I know it is me buying into corporate marketing, but my feet won't wear anything else.
Cheese naan: Tasty, gooey and very unhealthy. Delicious.
Lindt Chocolate: See above.

While I enjoy many of the things already mentioned, such as Desperate Housewives, 80s music, and EW, those things are good so I don't feel guilty about them at all.
Here are some bad things I love:
Dolph Lundgren movies (especially Masters of the Universe: The Motion Picture, I have the poster on my wall)
Dawson's Creek on DVD (I never got WB when it was on the air)
Dance 360 (a ridiculous syndicated dance off game show)

A bunch of old music that most people my age would hate
