Even though someone posted some French Bambi menu screens a few weeks ago, there's a lot of new ones here we haven't seen before. It's good to know that the wording of Disney's press release was misleading and that there are in fact multiple art galleries instead of one sole one ala Alice in Wonderland. I translated the art gallery menu screen via dictionary.com and here's what we can expect on it:
-- Concept Art
-- Story Outlines (Dunno why this is in the gallery, but it's probably because they're visual outlines as opposed to text)
-- Character Design
--- Bambi
--- Bambi's Mother
--- Flower
--- Friend Owl
--- Thumper
--- Feline
-- Color Keys
-- Production Photos
-- Posters
As for the menus themselves, like I said on the other thread, they're quite classy, though I hope there's at least some sort of animation on them. Disney menus have been fairly dull recently thanks to this new, pointless "Easy Find" system.

Very nice, classy.
what is this "easy find" thing anyway? to me Disney menus seem like every other movie's menu, just more colorful.

The fact that you don't even know Easy Find exists proves how useless it really is. Basically, it just separates all the bonus features into simple categories represented by icons as well as an option to see all of the bonus listed on a static page. I think this may be Disney's answer to the fury over the complexity of The Lion King's menus because ever since then, their menus have been very simple and broadly categorized. The thing is, this system is pointless because if you exclude Lion King, Disney DVD's have always had non-confusing interfaces. What sets this apart from the interface of older Disney DVD's are simply static menus and little icons next to each title (which you can see on Bambi's main menu screencap).

The seventh one sticks out like a sore thumb though.

That's because the 7th one is the main menu for the Thumper storybook (the little boxes are the options to either read it to yourself or have it narrated).

Everything looks really good, very classy. This will be a great release... the only negative I see on it is a snaek peak at Bambi and the Great Prince. A sequel to this classic is sort of blasphemous but at least we are finally getting Bambi on DVD in less than 2 and a half months! Woohoo!
