15-10-2005 that is the release date in holland I might add for Jungle Book platinum edition and a year later we are getting Cinderella! Usualy we get the same releases as you do so the question is: Wasn't Cinderella confirmed?

So it's only logical "Cinderella" will be released in March 2006, followed by "The Little Mermaid" in October and 2007 will see "Lady and the Tramp" and "101 Dalmatians" released.
I was actually kind of looking forward to seeing "Cinderella" on DVD
They can't make all those sudden changes

I don't think it's true... Besides "Bambi", "Cinderella" is the only animated classic that was never released in DVD format and they wouldn't re-release "The Jungle Book" again before "Cinderella". Also, it is confirmed in a lot of sites that it is coming in 2005, including some sites from The Netherlands:

Cinderella has already been advertised in print in the US, and by the time Bambi DVDs are sent out in a couple of months, we'll probably see the trailer. I doubt Disney would make a change like this now. If they were swapping the titles in 2006 or 2007, sure, I'd buy it. But I don't think this is likely in the US.

It would be nice to see Lasy and the Tramp sooner since it's my favourite that has yet to be released in the Platinum line. The rest are all great films but they are somewhat low on my favourites list.

from what is left on the Platinum list, Bambi, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, and the Jungle Book, the Jungle Book is my least favorite and i would prefer that one be released last, or atleast not till 2007.
don't get me wrong, i do like The Jungle Book, it is just not high on my list.

Yep, there is a flyer in the aladdin dvd for the bambi and cinderella platinum editions. its *possible that europe will see the jungle book before cinderella but i highly doubt it seeing as the americans would just have the jungle book euro dvd's sent over, and vice versa for the europeans and cinderella. personally i'd rather see cinderella come instead of jungle book, i think it's much more anticipated but i have high hopes that the little mermaid will be released ASAP! im going to disney world in spring 2006, it would be a nice place to make that purchase if it was the spring release, and if it was a fall release, id bet it would be november which would make a greta chirstmas gift.
in march, the rumors will most liekly be confirmed and we'll be expecting trailers and press releases for the next platinum which will probably be cinderella.

Umm, for me it doesn't matter which one comes first Cinderella or Jungle Book. Well, I like more Cinderella but if only that really matters is that I know I'm gonna get both on DVDs soon.

I am sure there will be special editions released between 2007 and 2011 they just haven't been decided yet, at the moment those dates are only temporary and could change.
