Just a quick reminder that Gargoyles Season 1 is on DVD tomorrow. So far, the lowest price has been at Tower Records, $19.99. Anyway, fans of the show will want to know that, sales on this DVD greatly effect the chances of the studio releasing 2 and 3. The official site has said that the best way to promote the box set is by buying them the first day, to send a message that the series still has a following. Just a heads-up. The Poll is just hear for fun.

Thanks for the heads up! For me Tower Records is farther away than Best Buy, but as far as I know Best Buy is selling it for $24.99, so it may just be worth the extra time to get there. I'm really tempted to buy more than one set so I can give extras away as gifts (and help out sales to boot), but with Mary Poppins and LotR coming out next week, I'm not sure if I'll have the money!

I dunno about this. On one hand I didn't really watch Gargoyles so I don't know what I would do with it. On the other hand if it sells well enough it might get Disney to release some of the other cartoons I want. But I also don't have any money either.

Never liked Gargoyles so I won't be buying it.

I always *despised* Demona. All she ever did was bemoan the "Oh, woe is me. Everyone hates me, so I must hate them." I found it boring after the first episode.

There's nothing original there as I've read this entire argument for years in the X-Men. At least Nightcrawler taught some of them how to get over themselves through example.

Nightcrawler looks like a demon, though he acts like a saint. A lot of mutants look like everyone else, but act selfishly. Who would you want to hate?

Remember people if Gargoyles doesn't sell well other Disney animated series like DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin etc. might not come out on DVD.

I haven't bought it yet and I'm done buying DVDs until Boxing Day (haha yeah right). I won't be getting this until sometime in the new year but I will buy it!
