Printable Treasures Blue Bands

I prefer a good overview in my collection, so I'll try to create 3 blue bands for the upcoming wave. First I only planned to design the most important left side, but then I decided to complete the whole thing.
I'll get Wave 4 soon, and so the rest of the numbers I need for a really authentic work. When finished I'll post them here.
An example you can download here :
http://members.lycos.co.uk/averus07/ima ... -A-Vs1.doc (Mickey Mouse in B&W 2 - Word Document 500kb)
Just rightclick and download it, print, cut and glue
For this one I took the Leonard Maltin quote from MM BW1 ... any suggestions for Pluto and the MM Club ?

That's really nice, but I prefer the original bands.

Nice job, now we have to find out a way to print them out and have them actually look like the real ones. Need cardboard. Keep it up.

The problem is that the 3 tins that comes this time does not include the bands.

I've made one (MMIB&W Vol. 2) from scratch in Photoshop @ 300 DPI, its 801K for the jpg if anyone has a place to host it, I'll be glad to send it your way.
I can make the other two by the weekend.

Ciaobelli, inkjet paper comes in different glossiness grades going from very flat "matte" paper to very "glossy" mirror-like ones. The bands seem not to be in full matte but they aren't completely glossy neither so mmm you could try/check different grades of semi matte or semi glossy stuff
(also you could try matte paper and spray on some kind of gloss coat...)
You can find these papers in different thicknesses or "weights". If you're obssessive maybe someone knowledgeable at an inkjet paper supply store (or a printing store/company

) could tell you what's an exact match if you took one band as sample
Also check with your printer's manual how thick can you print to.

I no longer have any of the original bands.

I took them off and set them together but someone in my family threw them away.
The reason I don't mind that the new ones didn't have bands is because of this. Now I don't feel as sad to have new releases with bands and old releases without.

Finished all three of them. They look pretty good, and very close to the originals.
I made two versions, ones where the bands come in two pieces that have to be glued in two spots, and ones that the bands are in one piece and only have to be glued in one spot (these won't print out on regular paper).
Its a 3.5 MB zip file, just need a place to host it.
jeronimo can you're email handle that size (I don't want any bounce backs).
