Buy 3 Get 1 Free Offer

I was wondering about this. It says they want 3 proof-of-purchase tabs. Now, different dvds seem to have tabs varying in size and number. So, when they ask for the proof-of-purchase tabs, for example, on the new Aladdin dvd they have 4 different ones. Do they want all those or just 1? Or for like the Fantasia dvd, it only has two. So do they want just 1 or both?

Here is a link to the form if you want to see what I am saying: http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/buy3Offer/

Any one should do, as long as they're clearly from 3 different DVDs. Some offers used to specify which tab to use, but now there's a bunch mostly to cover for future offers that there may be.

Welcome to the forum! :eye:

I don't recall that the Treasures even have a proof-of-purchase tab on them. Do the new ones have them?

I just looked at one of my Treasures, and the Proof of Purchase is on back of it in the lower corner. Not on the tin, on the DVD case. It should be right there, now if you wanna cut if off is another story :)

I have actually tried sending in a photocopy of my proof of purchases because I refuse to cut them. I sent my form, copies of proof of purchases, original receipts and check for $1.99 on 11/15. So far, I have not gotten anything yet. I am going to give it a few more weeks until I totally give up because it said it takes 8-10 weeks. I will let you know in a few weeks if I have received anything.

You can try checking to see if they got your request here:

https://portal.archway.com/run/Lookup?key=BVISTA

It usually says the status of your order and what DVD they will send you. They are good at updating it since I've check nearly everyday for last year's offer. Though it takes a LONG time for them to process the order. I sent mine in December and the DVD didn't come until February!

I tried checking the website and they don't have my information up yet. Hopefully, I will get my dvd though. I know it takes a while because I am sure they get lots of request.

It says you can only use photocopies of the receipt. But you need the original proof of purchases to get the freebies.

I know but I figured it was worth a shot. I definitely cannot cut my proof of purchases of my dvds. Who knows, it may work and it may not.

My check for $1.99 cleared today so maybe that is a good sign that they will be sending me my free dvd.

Cool! Has that site been updated to reflect your selected DVD as shipping?

I sent in my request and was wondering how long does it generally take for it to show up on the website that your mail in has been processed?

I won't be able to take part in this because I live in a stupid state called Rhode Island, where the closest Best Buy (where I buy all my stuff) is in Massachussets, AAAARRRRGGGHHHH

I looked on the site and it doesn't have anything on there for me but I would hope that they wouldn't cash my check if they weren't going to send me my dvd. Hopefully I will get it soon. I'll keep everyone posted. :)

They might not take you to task on that; Internet orders are acceptable and those are from out-of-state. I'm not even sure what the point of that stipulation is, but if I were them, I'd be glad to reward anyone who bought three Disney DVDs. But I'm not them.
