Or is there a bit of an echo on the Lilo et Stitch DVD? (French, of course)
I'm bilingual, not that you needed to know that, I just wanted to throw it in.
It's mainly during He Mele No Lilo. Is this in the anglais (sorry people, can't resist) version, or francais only?

It looked as if you were talking about the French edition, instead of the R1 French soundtrack. That could be fixed too. 
The post gave the impression you couldn't, or hadn't, heard the original English soundtrack of the R1 release.
