A little harsh on some I think, and what's with the soaps? While I'm no fan of soaps in general, I'd take something like The Bold and the Beautiful anyday over the tripe that is Coronation Street (8 Episodes this week?) and EastEnders trainwreck that seems to be the best the UK can come up with.

I agree with Jerry Springer, but at least it was entertaining, unlike our Trisha.

Yes, I'd have to say there are far worse imports than Baywatch.

How can anything with David Hasselhoff be bad?

As I live in a household that regularly watched Bold & the Beautiful, I can say I've seen a few episodes, but it is still harmless fun.

I would lump all the 'reality shows' in as worst imports, and definitely agree with 'Extreme Makeovers', which I believe represents everything that is wrong with modern society.

Its hard to believe the Anna Nicole Smith show could be worse than anything. Okay lets see, what is Key trying to get at. Hmmm. I guess it is a double negative. Damn I hate words, thats why I became an accountant. Yeah, I see, I meant Couldnt be worse than anything or maybe I dont see how it could be better than anything(else on the list)

And them Duke Boys rule.

I think they should ask Germany what the worst imports are. I guarantee that it wouldn't be Baywatch because the Germans love David Hasselhoff.

I've seen a few versions of the story in the last few months (4 to be exact), but this by far looks to be the most amusing!

Bleh. I've seen it at Suncoast before and have absolutely no interest. I saw the actually play a few years ago, which rocked. I'm afraid the David Hasselhoff version would only be good for mild amusement. Who knew he could sing?

Like JimmyJackJunior stated, I find it hard to believe that anything could be worse than the "Anne Nichole Smith Show" (at least this is what I think he was trying to say... a bit of a typo, I think).

Ok I agree that Baywatch was pretty bad but I don't think anything can outshine the Bold and the Beautiful. I've only seen a few episodes and I can't understand how anyone would pay these people for their pathetic attempt at 'acting'. Another pet hate of mine is Passions! Oh please!

Makes me that everyone's trashing B&B, it was one of my first soaps when I was a wee one (now I just watch AMC). The only bad actors on the show are Ronn Moss who plays Ridge and Adrienne Frantz who plays Amber.

But I guess soaps are not everyone's cup of tea...

That's a very diverse list. Is Dukes of Hazzard even still being shown in the US? And what's Manimal? I'm lost with that one. Anyways, I think it's funny that Baywatch is being shown on the US cable channel: TV Land. Man, I used to associate tv shows from the 50s and 60s being on TV Land, now the shows that ran during my lifetime are on it...I feel old.

Though I've never seen it, Manimal was an early 80s cop show about a man...who can morph into different animals. I heard it was pretty bad (the premise already sounds ridiculous!), and it was from the "bad" NBC season (the one when they stole Fred Silverman from ABC and he gave them crapfests like Manimal, Supertrain, Pink Lady and Me because of a writer's strike.)
