I was curious about what everyones favorite touchstone movies were. If we can talk about touchstone tv shows, i feel movies are fair game.

mine are

-splash (touchstone pictures snow white! i love the scene where shes dancing to "she works hard for the money" in front on the TV's)

-Down and out in Beverley Hills ("oh maltise, what a pretty dog you are, such a pretty dog" LOL)

-Ruthless people ("Ive been kidnapped by K-Mart!")

-Outrageous fortune (shelly Long and bette midler are great together! however, bette had a potty mouth in that movie )

-Cant Buy Me Love (isnt it funny how the main character has the same name as the guy who got voted out of disney and replaced by michael eisner? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm im talking about ron miller)

-Coctail (mediocre movie, but you gotta love that soundtrack!)

-Big Buisness (possible my favorite of all)

-Beaches (Its not nice to judge other people, leave me alone LOL)

-Scenes from a mall (Infedelity and bargain shopping!LOL)

-Father of the bride (i love the music at the beginning)

-Sister Act (Come on! who doesnt love sister act!)

-Its Pat the Movie (*makes pat grunt*)

-Ed Wood

-bubble boy (Bright and SHIIIINY!)

-Bringing down the house

-raising helen

and im going to receive criticism, but i think the nightmare before christmas is VERY overrated. i just dont get it.

There really isn't many Touchstone movies that I like. I guess my list would include Shyamalan's films, particularly Signs, which I liked the most of his. I'd also include Roger Rabbit and Nightmare Before Christmas.

Obviously "Touchstone" doesn't give off as strong a vibe as "Disney". I actually had to look back and think what studio made these.

M. Night Shyamalan's films (well, just <i>Sixth Sense</i> and <i>Signs</i> - we'll see about <i>The Village</i>)
Wes Anderson's 2 Touchstone films, <i>Rushmore</i> and <i>Royal Tenenbaums</i> (<i>Life Aquatic</i> looks promising too)

I think that's about all I can think of right now.

I don't have many Touchstone DVD's but the one I do like is Big Touble with Tim Allen

Dead Poet's Society was a great movie. (I am pretty sure it is Touchstone)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of the only ones I can think off the top of my head, as well as The Nightmare Before Christmas and 10 Things I hate about you, so that's my list...

mine is Nightmare before Christmas of course.

This movie was ment to ba an actual Disney Movie wasn´t it?

The Rock (I know it a Hollywood Pictures release-but it was about the only decent Hollywood pictures release)
King Arthur (no it's not Camelot-but if you take it at face value-it's actually pretty good)

Never been a big fan of Shyamalan's films-but Sixth Sense is okay
