Found it amusing that for The Incredibles, Disney simply has a "For Your Consideration - All Categories". I doubt it will get much attention in the Best Foreign Film, Best Documentary, Shorts, and Best Original Song categories. ;)

For Home on the Range, Original Song ("Will the Sun Ever Shine Again"), Original Score, and Animated Film are sought.

The others...

America's Heart & Soul - Original Song ("The World Don't Bother Me None")
The Life Aquatic - all categories
The Village - Best Actress (Bryce Dallas Howard), Cinematography, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Original Score
Ladder 49 - Best Film Editing, Sound Mixing, Original Score, and Original Song ("Shine Your Light")

No push for Teacher's Pet? That's a shame. I enjoyed it more than Home on the Range. Then again, the Animated Film Category looks pretty clearly to be a category with two serious competitors at this point.

By the way, Buena Vista's Awards site is here:

I hope a song from Home on the Range wins, Little Patch of Heaven is by far one of the best songs ever written for a Disney film, too bad the story was a mixed bag. Will the sun ever shine again is also amazing.

I really hope Home on the Range wins at least one award. I love that Little film soooooooooooooooooo much! I know it's not Disney's most popular or successful, but it's not really as bad as people seem to make out! Fingers Crossed!

Oh and a memo to all of those of you who live in the UK, what have you got to remember to do on November 29th?

Need a clue?

See Below :D

Well, once again Disney is choosing the low route for their animated musicals, "Concentrate on this one song that we deem the best!" If they didnt' get one for Brother Bear, I doubt they'll get one for Home on the Range. The should push A Little Patch of Heaven! :)

Frankly, I'm quite surprised their investing good dollars in The Village. I highly doubt any nominations will come into fruition. I thought they would commit category fraud and Promote Bryce Dallas Howard as supporting, rather than lead. Normally, I'm against that, but in this case, I think it might have been for the best.

Hmm. That's strange. Why isn't the song "Breakaway" from the Princess Diaries 2 nominated for Best Original Song? Doesn't the song count? The only three songs I can think of that deserve Best Original Song nominations are this one, "Accendentally in Love" from Shrek 2, and "Will the Sun Ever Shine Again?" from Home on the Range.
