Do you?

Like for example watching a complete TV series? Or a complete season of one?

A bunch of Disney movies you want to see in a certain order? Or trilogies?

A Star Wars one?

The Lord of the Rings? The Extended Version one?

In my case I like to do that. Not that often of course but I tend to do do them every now and then. I tried once to do TLOTR Extended but I siimply couldn't. It was too much for me.

Yeah, I hardly get the chance to see movies, so when I do, I watch them all in one go.

Typically, I don't. I can maybe watch 2 in a row, but after that, I get quite antsy and my eyes start to sag. Besides, I usually only have time to watch flicks around 9 PM, so if I had a marathon, I bee up to da wee hours! Lolzzzz

Yup, I have Kill Bill/Disney ones often.

I love having movie marathons. I've done it for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jesus films (which I do every Easter), Indiana Jones, Marvel Comics Adaptations, Pixar films, and various Disney movies. I plan on having a Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition marathon as soon as I get Return of the King. Wish me luck since all together, the EE's run about 11 hours.

I can't do movie marathons. I couldn't sit still that long. I watch one movie at a time. Now, I will have marathons with television programs, should they be short enough, like half-hour shows ... I'll watch four or five episodes at a time, sometimes.

I plan on watching all three extended LOTR's back to back next month the day I buy it, if it's my day off, or just wait til my day off and be a COUCH POTATO. I also like to get on kicks where I'll watch all my box sets of Futurama, Star Wars, GI Joe, or Transformers.

I do at times. I do it whenever I can especially around Halloween and Christmas with a themed marathon to suit the holidays. I have Disney marathons, Miyazaki, Kevin Smith marathons at times too. I have a lot of themed ones like pirates, fantasy, Ben Stiller comedies, Harryhausen movies, hororor classics... I could go on.

In the past month I have rented almost every DVd at my local video store so that made for a few marathons.

I remember having a Fushigi Yuugi marathon with my friends once... I actually think we watched at least 26 episodes (the entire 1st season) in one go. And then we watched the 2nd season the next day.... if memory serves me right.

And I do have movie marathons in which I watch animated Disney films back-to-back (or LotR, etc.). Sometimes I watch them by myself. I've no qualm, really (though it's always funner with more people).

It depends on what I feel like watching. But like Jack said, sometimes after two movies in a row I begin to get restless.

Also, time is a factor, so if I ever had a full day completely free of everything and everyone, I'd probably have my own 24-hour movie marathon. The bad thing is I get bored really quickly at times with a movie, especially the beginning. Unless I watch it in a theater or it's a really big favorite, I can't stand watching probably the first 15 minutes of a movie. It's more fun to start in the middle with a familiar movie.

Since I took some vacation time around Christmas and it gets very cold here I think I'm going to do a Star Wars marathon one day. One day I'm going to do a LOTR EE marathon. And I might do a Disney one but I'm not sure what I'm going to watch.

Marathons are typically better with other people, unless you're viewing them that way for increased emotional resonance.

My university just announced three days of Star Wars trilogy screenings in January, and I am extremely excited about that. I did watch the special editions in theaters one time, but now I can see them consecutively on the big screen.

I love to have movie/series marathons. I have one at least once a month.

I have done a few marathons, like when I got my Scarecrow And Mrs King Complete DVD Set of all 88 Episodes. I had a huge marathon every spare minnute when I wasn't working, doing homework, or in school thats what I was doing It was grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

When I was little, my mom and I would do television show marathons once in a blue moon. Usually we'd we watch long stuff (like Gone with the Wind) or Elvis movies.

I haven't watched television in four months (I don't own a TV) so I'll definitely be doing a Christmas-theme related television marathon later this week when I go home for winter break.

I don't usually have movie marathons, but I've had plenty of TV-on-DVD ones. Like when I bought the first season of Alias, and had never seen the show before, I watched thirteen episodes in a single day (eeks!)

I have trouble having movie marathons though because I usually lose interest pretty quickly when doing something like that.
