The meanings of Disney songs

Has anyone never understood the "true meanings" of a Disney song?? Songs talk about something, but some people just like them because they sound good, and they're fun to sing along. But most of us never get what the song truly means and what's the special message it's giving us.
Me for example, these lyrics sounded odd and I used to listen to it but never got what it meant, sure is about Beauty and the Beast, but it talks even more than that:
Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Then somebody bends
Unexpectedly
Just a little change
Small to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the Beast

I was confused when I thought what it meant, but there's songs that you really have to look for answers to understand..
(From Lion King, circle of Life)
Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
Sithi uhhmm ingonyama
Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
Sithi uhhmm ingonyama
Ingonyama
Siyo Nqoba

Did it happen to anybody else?? Did it take at least some time to understand certain Disney song?? If yes, then which one?

Well, In my language arts class, we always have a "Music Monday," where we all listen to a song, with the lyrics on the board, and write any literary devices we see. Somehow, we always end up discussing what the song is. And, unless the teacher tells us what the song is supposed to be, we technically all think the same thoughts, but not really. It's all on interpretation.

For instance, if something tragic happened in your life that didn't happen in mine, then we'd interpret stuff on whatever that tragic thing was.

Okay, this is waay on a tangent. I'm sorry

But yeah, i'll sometimes listen to a song for hours on end... and when i actually listen, i'm like, oh my gosh, it's soo cool and real.

You don't get the meaning of Beauty and the Beast?????

Anyway, the chant in Circle of Life means "there's a lion born" or something like that. Check out the script at http://www.lionking.org for more info.

It's not that I don't get it, but it took me time to really pay close attention to it and finally understand it.

The best way I can interpret that is that it's a love story about two people who never thought they'd fall in love.
