New teaser poster for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is out at Dark horizons.
I can't wait for this film, to see a faithful film of this book. I really hope the nut room is in. :D :D
The only thing wrong with this poster is his Makeup, too pale with too bright lips.

I'll past on this remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in my opinion remakes kill the original film. :P

Blah. I'd rather see Chicken Little and Herbie: Fully Loaded next summer. The latter really can't "butcher" the Herbie movie since that's clearly not sacred ground like Willy Wonka.

Nope, not really interested at all by this! And i think that poster is just blah, IMHO! It doesn't whet my apetite at all, in fact the opposite it makes me cringe!

I'm not too interested, either. It looks kind of...I don't know. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if my opinion changes(which it probably will). :D

That's really creepy...

I doubt I'll see this, though I'm probably someone who should-I haven't read the book, and couldn't stomach even the first 10 minutes of the original film, so they can't ruin it for me.

Tim Burton + Johnny Depp = guaranteed good movie.

On the contrary, I'm actually kind of interested in this film now. Then again, the new film's supposed to be darker, edgier, and more-true-to-the-book - at least that's what I've heard. And nothing interests me more than the macabre!! ;)

The fact that it's named CHARLIE and the chocolate factory means it isn't a "remake" of the 71 film but a new adaptation of the book. And since it's Tim Burton it's bound to be creepy and weird just like the book. Dahl wrote some pretty twisted stuff.

Hmm . . . Johnny looks a bit like a girl. But I like the hat! 8)
I'm so excited for this movie. Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Danny Elfman and Roald Dahl? What more could you possibly ask for?

I saw the 1971 adaptation when I was about 5 or 6 years old, and watched it again when I was around 16. I couldn't believe just how dark both novel and film were the second time I watched it, so now I'm actually looking forward to Tim Burton's version of "Chocolate Factory."

A-men! The poster has me really excited, though Depp does look unexpectedly creepy here.

I absolutely love how twisted yet colorful the poster is. It bugs me how so many people keep saying this is a remake of the 70's musical when it's actually a remake (as in another adaptation of) the book. Although the musical was wonderfully surreal, the book was far more twisted. James and the Giant Peach and Matilda got the bizarre dark humor right for their adaptations (even if in James' case, a lot was changed), so I'm hoping Tim Burton's film will join them. I can't wait for a teaser trailer for this!

Looks great! I am a hugh Tim Burton fan, and this looks like another great film for him! Johnny Depp has always been his good-luck charm, so hopefully this will be another bead on their huge string of successes. Creepy yet cool!

He did write some pretty creepy stuff...
Matilda, Charlie and James and the Giant Peach are all practically books about Child Abuse and underpriveleged children.

I love how they always get out on top though!

James and his peach sail on, Charlie owns the factory, and Matilda finds someone who actually will take care of her!

Dahl WAS twisted! But his twists (as are Danny Elfman's, Tim Burton's and Johnny Depp's) are awesome!

I'm not sure if I want to see this really. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is my all time favourite musical and I watch it every Xmas day without fail (my nephew bought it for me my 1st Xmas away from home bless him!). I used to drive my parents nuts watching it at Xmas and I've continued the tradition into my 30's!

Tim Burtons films can be a bit weird so I'm still debating whether to see it or not. The cover art makes it look like it's gonna be a bit weird anyway!

If it was any director other than Burton, I'd pass... but I'm intrigued to see what he does with this.
