Am I the only one who's favourite scene is bambi's mother getting shot... I know, favourite isnt the right word but it's Disney's storytelling at its best. So sad, yet so well done. In my opinion Bambi is Walt's masterpiece, not Snow White

Mine's close, Patrick - I think my favorite scene is Bambi's first encounter with Man out on the Meadow. The use of color and lighting and music, not to mention Bambi's panicked cries of "Mother!" - it makes for a very effective, genuinely terrorizing scene. Bravo to the filmmakers for that one!
