Disney mistakes in their movies (Name Them!)

In this forum, you can post some mistakes that you noticed in disney movies, which don't really mess up the movies, but you do notice them.

Here I'll give you one: In Aladdin when Rajah rips the prince's pants, you clearly see that Rajah has a piece of his underwear, not his pants.

I'm sure there's lots of them out there which I don't know..name them.

They can be mistakes with the script, animation, story, the plot, anything!!

In B&B

Maurice goes to rescue belle the same day when she is captured, but in the castle belle stays for a lot of time (according to the movie and the sequels) so maurice should have died in the cold, he can't survive more than 3 days in those climatologic situations!

Nobody probably noticed this, but Ursula on the Little Mermaid has a mole on the right side of her chin. When she looked into a mirror, the mirror image showed the mole on the same right side, which should have been on the left side of a mirror image.

The raccoon disappears in Bambi! Right after the fire, when the animals are escaping to the island, the mother raccoon drags her babies onto the island and begins to wash them. Right as she licks one of them, it vanishes!

by Quasimodo
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but in Snow White, when the dwarves are introduced in the mine swinging their picks, there is an awkward "skip" in the animation. It looks like someone placed the wrong cells in the sequence for a frame or two and then it resumes as it should be.

In Fantasia, during Pastoral Symphony, when those flying horses all jump into the water, one jumps down as a blue, but comes up orange. I can't really remember the colors, but there were a couple that changed colors in the water.

Some anachronisms*:
In Hunchback (1996), Laverne remarks to the birds, "Fly my pretties, fly!" from the movie Wizard of Oz (1939).

The Gospel-singing Muses in Hercules (1997), which takes place waaaay before there were Gospel-singers.

Genie is sporting a Goofy cap in Aladdin (1992).

A fast-food type restaurant in Emperor's New Groove (2000), also the Boy Scout-ish uniforms for that Squirrel group.

In Atlantis (2001)Milo calling Audrey a "teenager". Teenager wasn't a commonly used phrase during the time period.

*anachronism - something located at a time when it could not have existed or occurred

I know a major one.

In the Origional 50's classic, Shaggy Dog. Fred MacMurray accidentally calls Kevin Corcoran Kevin in the movie, when his name in the movie is actually Moochie.

Let's not also forget, in the Beauty and the Beast, when Bell is in the tower crying after her father was sent back home, the beast says"
You wanna-you wanna-stay in the tower"

This line was then fixed in the special edition but it seemed like it was an error in the sound. Those of you who own the VHS will notice that.

I believe you are talking about two different parts of the film!
The part jambo*rafiki was talking about is true the racoon doe sjust disappear, when i was little i asked my Mum why that happened she said it was because he died from the fire!

I'll take it that Sleeping Beauty is set in France since it's a French fairy tale, right?

Aurora mentions she lives in a cottage in a glen. Glens are in Scotland, not France.

In The Hunchback of Notredame in the festival of fools scene, just after the crowd realizes Quasimodo is not wearing a mask, a remark is made by a woman, the line in particular is "He's hideous!" In the shot in which that line is said, Quasimodo's animation is set on the frame so the edge of the stage is behind him, so he appears (subtly though) to be floating off the stage.
Another is in Aladdin, when Jafar begins to transform into a snake, in the very shot where the transformation begins, the shoulders of Jafar's costume remain throughout the whole shot (Just look! They are shown very well at the end of the shot!)
Also in Aladdin, there is a shot where Aladdin is sneaking up behind Jafar and Jasmine in order to get the lamp. There are two shots like this, one where Jasmine is talking to Jafar, and another where the bowl of fruit falls. In the first shot, the back of Jafar clearley shows that his hat is the royal vizier hat, if you look closely, you can even see the red feather sticking up above the top of the hat. But yet, in the next shot, the hat has it's usual scorcerer dip.

Hmm . . . I noticed that, too. I thought the Beast was just stammering from anger. But if they "fixed" it in the special edition, it must have been an error . . . leave it, Disney, why don't you?

Belive me, when you have a very examinative eye you can tell this mistake :D ...also helps to have seen a lot---but I mean a loooot--- of times this beautifull movie.

anyway, images says more than words:
Image here we see the mother on the left whit the baby racoon
Image
here is coming by the right the second racoon, the baby-one still on the left side
Image
Presto! the baby racoon have been teleported to the right side!

It's a Big Boy's!

A rather obvious one:

In Aladdin, I was always bothered in the "A Whole New World Scene" and Jasmine closes her mouth but is still singing when the carpet dips down. She sings "A whole new woooooooorllldd..." She closes her mouth before she finishes singing "world."
Aladddin: Don't you dare close your eyes.
Jasmine: A hundred thousands things to see (her mouth is moving at this part).

it always annoyed me how baby simba has a long tail in the shot with the monkeys, some backgroud painter wasnt paying attention most likely:)

oh and when simba and nala nuzzle in the rain after he defeats scar, their faces sort of run into each other, call it bad inkig or animation, but it annoys me how flat and xrazy it looks:)

ariels crazy zippy pupil in the part of your world scene.

It's true, it sometimes bothers me when I see Simba's tail suddenly grow out of thin air but sometimes you don't notice it, and you might even be able to ignore it since the whole Circle of Life scene is so incredible. For example, the first five times I saw the movie, I never noticed that until somebody mentioned it.

Beauty and the Beast also has some bad moments of animation, when the Beast puts Maurice in the "Spider Car"--"Take him to the village"-- the Beast changes critically, this scene looks rushed, if you watch the movie you will see what I mean, he looks bad and then all of a sudden he looks normal.
