I chose these 3 in particular since they're kind of similar in the way they're related (all are old and people usually fight for these ones in particular).

From these 3 movies, which one do you think deserved more recognition than it had?

You have until Tuesday to vote.

The Great Mouse Detective. Very underrated film indeed. Black Cauldron had a good plot but was badly executed. I don't think much of Rescuers, though.

They're all pretty good films, but I think The Black Cauldron gets the least respect of all of them. It may not be the best of these three, but it is the most underrated.

Hmm

I think Great Mouse Detective. It's overlooked just as much as the other two choices, but I pick it because I feel its a very strong movie, unlike Rescuers and Black Cauldron.

Agreed. Great Mouse Detective and Rescuers have, at one time, had big re-release campigns with Disney touting them as "big" (primarily the mid-to-late '90s VHS tape reissues), whereas Black Cauldron has always been shoved to the side. It was released in August 1998, a throaway slot before the release of The Lion King II and The Rescuers that fall, and only because they were running out of things to release. If they had had their way, it would've stayed in the vault perminantely. Heck, in 1985 the reception was so bad that Disney pulled it from theatrical release after just 2 weeks (instead of trying to repromote it from a different angle, as they should have done.) It was promoted half-assedly, didn't sell well, and they still don't respect it. The sensable thing to do would be to give it a repush in the wake of the success of things like Lord of the Rings and such, but they don't do that either.

I've got to say the fairly fun The Rescuers. That is pretty underrated and considering this came out at a time when Disney released dreck like the atrocious Pete's Dragon, fairly fun actually means really good.

As for Basil the Great Mouse Detective...well, that's too dark and dingey for me. The Black Cauldron is okay, but is nothing more than that.
