Search Engine Suggestion

Luke- Is it possible to add a feature in the search engine that allows us to search titles only? Currently, if a search term is mentioned, however briefly, within a thread, that thread will appear in the search results. A "Title Only" search would return less irrelevant threads.

There's something pretty much similar to what you are suggesting all ready.

When you type in something to search, there is an option in "Search Query" that allows you to choose:

-Search for any terms or use query as entered
-Search for all terms

If you choose the first one, you usually get the result that you just described: a whole bunch of posts, including ones that briefly mention the search term. However, if you choose "Search for all terms", the result is greatly specified, and you're very likely to find the post you're looking for easily.

I do use the "Search for all terms" option, but if I'm looking for a thread specifically about Finding Nemo or Tarzan, I'll still get every thread those movies are mentioned in as a search result.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's any easy way for me to add this as an option. My knowledge about phpbb isn't the greatest either. I guess for now, the best thing to do is unfortunately either wade through the results and look for titles that stand out or try using the whole site search:

http://www.ultimatedisney.com/search.html

This will return pages from the site, but many prominent forum discussions are also in Google's index.
