Disney Character Battles #1: Maleficent vs. Jafar

I'm creating my first Disney Character Battle in this form! The reason is that I was too bored. Okay, so we both know that both Maleficent and Jafar are really powerful, but now that we place these two in the battlefield for the first time... who do you think will win? Please be specific, too. It's just a favor.
Notes: Maleficent CANNOT transform into a dragon. Jafar CANNOT transform into a snake or a genie, which means both MUST stay human at all times.

My vote went to Jafar although I have to say its a close race becasue Maleficent is up there as well.

I would give the edge to Maleficent. Both are powerful, but her magic does not require a cobra staff, and she is motivated solely by evil.

Maleficent. She looks more intimidating to me, i mean with the pointy horn headdress and those yellow eyes...creepy. plus, she has more minions than Jafar, who only has Iago...and if his staff breaks, what else would he use?
