I know that one of the special features on the DVD (out today so GO BUY IT!) Is a new deleted song "Proud of Your Boy" recorded by Clay Aiken. I was wondering, why was the song deleted from the movie in the first place? Time? Didn't really flow with the story? Just curious. I like to know.

"Proud of Your Boy" was a song Aladdin sings to his mother, I think, and the mother was cut from the film (along with 3 of Aladdin's friends too I believe). Without a mother to sing it to, it got deleted.

Well he could have sung it to his dad. But then again his dad wasn't introduced until the third movie.

Yup, in Aladdin and the King of Thieves, Aladdin has a daddy. :) Don't feel bad. I've only seen the first two movies.
