I'm going to be buying all three Lion King films pretty soon... now I know that The Lion King came with a special cover that would slip off and to find that version now is pretty hard (I found a copy with this cover for 29.99 at Sam Goody, but it's 19.99 at Wal-Mart without the extra cover.) Lion King II can be found with this special case right now, but I was wondering, did Lion King 1 1/2 come in this kind of case at one point?

Yes, it did. For answers to slipcovers/packaging related questions, you can always check 2 places:
1) The review:

For most DVDs (theatrical releases), there's a little box with the cover art and specs (including packaging) right after the movie section of the review.
2) Jake Lipson's Definitive Guide to Slipcovers:

I'm sure he'll be disappointed you didn't check there first!

Kind of hate buying Lion King 1 1/2 without a slip cover, but I dunno... maybe if I wait I'll find it somewhere. I suppose it's no biggie although it's pretty neat. It just might seem funny having Lion King II with a slip cover between Lion King and Lion King 1 1/2 which wouldn't have slip covers. Or perhaps technically Lion King II would come after Lion King 1 1/2 on my shelf. Perhaps I'm over analyzing...

Thanks for your help.
