If we're talking about the original Pooh shorts or the original AA Milne tales, then I'd say that I like Winnie the Pooh. If the Pooh we're all on about is the one who is over exploited in the Disney Store and in dreck like The Tigger Movie, nope.

I like the old school Pooh.

The new one is awful. I tried watching the Piglet movie, 5 minutes into it I had to turn it of :(

I have a huge Pooh plush, its misfigured though :cry:

:o --> :cry:

I like the newer Disney version of Winnie the Pooh. The one who wears a red shirt with "POOH" on it. ;)

I like him a lot. I have a lot of plushes (the biggest is bigger than a 3 year old! and the smallest is...meant for a baby!) and I have lots of Disney Exclusive Pooh Plush in Box. :) He's a cutie!

i love Winnie the Pooh, heres a bit of copyrighted Frannie humor. Me and my sisters were watching Pooh's big movie(or whatever the one with Chistopher Robin going to Skule was called) and near the end Pooh says "No more we" in a sad way, or something to that extent, and i burst out with "But we've still got Pooh!". Of course the h was silent on Pooh and my sisters almost died of laughter

I'm not any big fan of Winnie the Pooh but I prefer the current WTP :)

Amen to that.

I never liked Winnie the Pooh even when I was a kid. I downright hated WTP in middle school because all of my classmates (mostly girls) were always showing off WTP stuff.

And cute too. And fluffy.

It is an odd metaphor. But it makes sense on some level. Maybe it is my inner desire to associate those things that are cute with my dirty side, or possibly the desire to see all cutesy stuff sent to hell.

Either way, I like Pooh.

The recent efforts do have a bit of a "Pooh by numbers" feel, as if they are just rehashing the old situations and themes again. I suppose after so many series and DTVs, there is only so much more you can do. Short of doing A Very Pooh Hannuka, there aren't many holidays left to do either. Still, the stuff we have is pretty good.

I'm struggling to keep up with all the releases. I haven't even bought the last three TV volumes released here!

A.A. Milne rules

As much as I love Disney, I must say that I think their treatment of the poor Pooh is dreadful. The original A.A. Milne stories are truly funny in a very weird and Taoist kind of way, and Disney simply doesn't get it. In fact the ONLY Disney classic that I haven't bothered to watch is The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh (though I've owned the dvd for years). Knowing that I will watch it someday, I'm fervently hoping it's better than the lame Poo (yes, the "h" should definitely be silent as the tomb) they show on TV, now and ten years ago.
