For what it's worth, none of the Amazon orders placed through UD links have shipped. Hopefully soon!

My R1 Aladdin DVD ordered from <b>playusa.com</b> arrived on my doormat here in the UK this morning!

I'm watching it now (and listening to commentary track 1)...

Usually, for the preorders, how long before the official release does Amazon ship ?

I find Amazon normally ship 7-10 days prior to the official release date.. This is why I have been concerned. I ordered the Collecters set and I thought they may be having problems with stock of that ??.. Did you order just the regular DVD or the set as well ?

The first Aladdin DVD ordered through the site has shipped! Well, I don't know if it was ordered first, but it's the first to ship. I'm sure you'll be seeing yours ship soon.

Thanks for the update Luke... I'm sure it will ship soon... It is just however dissapointing that they are taking so long as I had planned to watch the DVD next week while I'm still on vacation. I will be back at work by the week after... Oh well, these things happen.

I ordrered the Gift Set and thx for answer and Luke thx too for saying that the 1st ones had shipped !

OMG ! What the hell is Amazon doing ? They still haven't shipped my Gift Set ! I know we're not Tuesday yet but I had hopped they'd had shipped it sooner !

Well, apparrently, that won't be today Saturday so let's hope for Monday....

When I think of all the canadian sites that already shipped it !..........

I sent an email to Amazon to find out what is going on....

I got a message back, but it was a little hard to understand... Basically there seems to be a problem with the stock being distributed to the various Amazon offices around the world. I don't know if this is just limited to the Collectors set or just the regular DVD as well.

Very frustrating !

Yes, it appears so... I live in Australia and most of our Amazon orders come from Amazon in Hong Kong... They have not received stock yet from the US fulfillment centers... It looks like they are not going to receive until the official release date and thus here in Australia, we wont receive the DVD's until 7 days or so after the release. It looks like Amazon in Europe is having the same problem and have not as yet received the Collectors edition stock from the US.
