Disney's Guilty pleasures

Are there any Disney movies you kind of feel ashamed to liking? I have some. Sleeping Beauty is one of them. It's a lovely film and I don't want to kill myself just because I like it, but there are loads of plot holes if you put your mind to it. For example, wouldn't Aurora go back to the castle after her 16th birthday, since the curse would have expired?

How dare you call Sleeping Beauty a guilty pleasure??? Its a moving painting, bliss for the eyes, great songs and an old tale that is great.
I have no guilty pleasures, all the Disneys I like I consider great.

But wouldn't the fairies have known about the curse? Wouldn't they have had sense to keep Aurora in the wood for one more day?

Hey, don't get me wrong; I think that
Sleeping Beauty is a wonderful family classic. It's just when people call it Disney's Ultimate Masterpiece, I begin to feel guilty for liking it, as it is, IMO, not the Ultimate Disney Classic. It kind of makes me artificial liking it. That sort of applies to
Jungle Book for me too.

hi!
Remember than they take her to the castle almost at the end of her 16th birthday, they almost avoid Maleficent, but her crow-pet it´s who tells she than she´ll be taken to the castle, it´s not the fairy´s mistake

The journey from the woodcutter's cottage to the palace would've been a while, so the fairies left basically so they could arrive there as soon as the spell would be broken at sunset, hence why there was a large crowd with fireworks outside. Unfortunately, they seemed to have gotten there a tad early, giving Maleficent enough time to bestow the curse.
As for the thread's real topic, I only consider both Princess Diaries films guilty pleasures because 1) they're admittedly very fluffy films and 2) because even though they're not really chick flicks, people perceive them as such. I'm not embarrassed to love any other Disney films, though.

Whatever age or sex you are, that's always wrong in my opinion!

Some of my Disney guilty pleasures:
Phil of the Future - very bad theme song (you could do the hokey pokey to it), passable show itself. But it's a half hour of fun for me.
DCOM - many of them SUCK now, but I like watching them if it's an interesting one. Motocrossed makes me laugh all the time, because the very first time we saw it, we started watching half way through, and I actually thought that the girl was a boy (well, you know what I mean).
Weekenders, Recess, and House of Mouse - cartoons. yep.
The Black Cauldron - loved by probably only 20 people, myself included.
I'd probably never admit this to anyone except you guys at UD, but my ultimate guilty pleasure with Disney would have to be...
The Parent Trap (1998 version)

I guess I have a lot to feel guilty about, then, since that's my favorite live action Disney film...

I love that one too lol. The other really bad one is Kim Possible (obviously)...I love that show and I'm almost 30 (how did that happen again???)
My real guilty pleasure isn't disney...I like Batman the movie (the 60's one with the dehydrated UN) and own it on DVD

That makes all the disney's look really sophisticated.

It may not be trendy for a college guy to watch, but I love The AristoCats. Being a musician myself, I really appreciate the songs in this movie. Plus, all of the characters are just so charming. Napoleon and Lafayette are comic gold.

I don't think Sleeping Beauty is a guilty pleasure. I like Sleeping Beauty! I also like Treasure Planet too even though some of my other Disney-loving friends hated it.
